Opastus on tarkoitettu eläkkeelle siirtyneille tai siirtymässä oleville henkilöille, joita tietotekniikka askarruttaa tai kiinnostaa. Opastusta varten voi tuoda oman kannettavan tietokoneen, älypuhelimen tai tabletin tai käyttää kirjaston asiakastietokonetta.

Opastus on maksutonta. Opastukset ovat suosittuja, joten varaathan opastusaikasi hyvissä ajoin. Ilmoittaudu opastukseen etukäteen joko Pohjois-Haagan kirjastossa tai puhelimitse: p. (09) 310 85040.

Haluaisitko apua ja neuvoja tietokoneen, internetin tai sähköpostin peruskäyttöön?

Enter ry:n maksutonta tietotekniikkaopastuksia on tarjolla Entressen kirjastossa ajanvarauksella torstaisin 7.9. - 14.12. 2023 kello 11 - 13 . Keväällä taas 11.1. - 16.5. samaan aikaan.

Opastus tapahtuu asiakkaan omalla kannettavalla tietokoneella, mobiililaitteella tai kirjaston asiakaskoneella. Opastuksissa käydään läpi tietokoneen käytön ja internetin palveluiden perusteita. Opastus kestää yhden tunnin. Opastusaika varataan etukäteen joko puhelimitse numerossa 09 8165 3776 tai paikan päällä kirjastossa. Asiakkaalla voi olla opastukseen vain yksi varaus kerrallaan.

Laita jalkaan mukavat kävelykengät, pukeudu säänmukaisesti ja tule mukaan.

Familiars

Noituus on historiallisesti ollut vastavoima yhteiskunnan auktoriteeteille. Se ei sopeudu status quoon vaan ottaa vallan takaisin. Ei siis ole yllättävää, että noituus assosioituu usein queeriyteen.

Näyttely tutkii noituuden ja queeriyden suhdetta erilaisten apuhenkien eli familiaarien kautta. Familiaarit manifestoituvat usein eläimen hahmossa ja toimivat noidan suojelijana hänen saadessaan voimansa.

Juban \" Viivi ja Wagner\"-sarjakuva tavoittaa päivittäin yli neljä miljoonaa sanomalehden lukijaa eri puolella Suomea. Viivin ja Wagnerin huumori on pitänyt tavanomaisesta sanomalehtisarjakuvasta poikkeavan linjansa. Se on aina ennalta arvaamatonta ja kaavoihin kangistumatonta. Hetkittäin se palkitsee lukijansa lempeällä tilannekuvauksella, toisinaan jättää lievän hölmistyksen tilaan vain iskeäkseen seuraavaksi riemastuttavalla oivalluksella. Kaikki lukevat Viiviä ja Wagneria omalla tavallaan. Lapset, nuoret ja aikuiset löytävät siitä oman kiinnekohtansa.

Eihän nuoren, fiksun naisen ja possun elämänkumppanuus koskaan voi olla itsestään selvää! Kiintymyksellään tähän omalaatuiseen pariskuntaan suomalaiset ovat osoittaneet uteliaisuutta, ennakkoluulottomuutta ja erilaisuuden sietokykyä - ainakin sarjakuvaa kohtaan.

Ensimmäisen taidenäyttelyn Juba piti Galleria Dix:ssä, Helsingissä vuonna 2004, jonka jälkeen vielä seuraavat v. 2006 ja v. 2008. Nämä näyttelyt olivat suuria yleisömenestyksiä ja kaikki esillä olleet maalaukset myytiin jo avajaisissa.

Oulunkylän näyttelyssä on esillä \"Viivi ja Wagnerin parisuhdeteoriaa\", joka osuu ja uppoaa usein jokapäiväisiin tilanteisiin juuri siellä kotona, kuten teokset \"En tiskaa\", \"Naisen takana on sika\", \"Rakas hapannaama\". Teokset ovat grafiikkaa, serigrafioita (silkkipainotöitä), jotka taiteilija on numeroinut ja signeerannut.

Sirkku Tukiaisen grafiikanvedoksissa on pieniä, hiljaisia hetkiä ja tarinoita. Linnut ihmettelevät maailmanmenoa, kasvit elävät luonnon kiertokulussa omalla paikallaan. Toivon etsiminen ja ylläpitäminen ovat keskeisiä teemoja. Unelmat ovat toivon sukulaisia. Niitä on tärkeää vaalia yksilön elämässä, maailman tulevaisuudelle todeksi tulevat, elämää tukevat unelmat ovat välttämättömiä.

Arkkitehdin koulutukseen kuului kursseja, joissa piirrettiin kaupunkinäkymiä kohtalaisen nopeasti. Kynä vaan paperiin, ja noin 5-10 minuutissa pitäisi saada ainakin pääosin muodot, reunat, syvyys ja varjot aikaiseksi. Koulun jälkeen olen jatkanut ns. skissien tekemistä, sillä postikorttivihko ja kynät kulkevat kevyesti reissussa. Piirtäminen suo rauhallisen hetken keskittyä kaupunkitilaan tai maisemaan. Piirustukset on enimmäkseen tehty paikanpäällä 20-30 minuutissa, suoraan musteella paperille; joskus lisään värit tai muita efektejä kotona. Käytän yleensä vanhanaikaisia täytemustekyniä, niissä on tiettyä charmia, mutta haittana on että sormet ovat usein musteessa.

Kirjavat kirjat, koreat kannet, sadat sävyt sivuillani on ensimmäinen näyttely, jossa on nähtävillä näin laajasti tekemiäni taiteilijakirjoja. Suurin osa kirjoista on nyt ensimmäistä kertaa yleisön nähtävillä. Katseen kohteena on itselleni syvin, herkin ja rakkain tapa taiteentekemiseen. Lähes päiväkirjanomaisesti aikaa ja elämää kommentoivat kuvat kansien sisällä.

Taiteilijakirjani ovat uniikkeja ja runsaita. Kuvavirta on moninainen, monipuolinen ja yllättävä. Olen tehnyt näitä kirjoja jo lähes 10 vuotta. Moleskine Sketchbook valikoitui mielekkäimmäksi kooksi jo useampi vuosi sitten, vaikka varhaisimmissa kirjoissani koko vaihteli. Osaan välttävästi sitoa itsekin kirjoja, mutta minun mielenkiintoni keskiössä on kuva - eritavoin ja erivälinein tuotettu kuva, joten on luontevaa käyttää valmiiksi sidottua kirjaa.

Avatessani puhtaan aukeaman annan itselleni luvan vastata kyllä mieleen tuleville ideoille, olivatpa ne miten hulvattomia tahansa. Usein oivallan vasta jälkikäteen, mitä aukeamalla kommentoin tai mihin tunnelmaan huomioni kulloinkin on kiinnittynyt. Jokainen aukeama on minulle kuin elävä muisto siitä hetkestä ja niistä tunteista tai ajatuksista, joita sitä tehdessäni koin tai näin. Henkilökohtaisuudestaan huolimatta aukeama on tehnyt tehtävänsä, kun se on valmis.

Itselleni taiteilijana prosessi on yhä lopputulosta tärkeämpi. Kirja mahdollistaa paljon - se ei juurikaan rajaa sitä, mitkä välineet ovat mahdollisia. Tästä johtuen aukeamilta löytyy hyvin monipuolisesti erilaisia tekniikoita ja materiaaleja aina paperikollaasista viivapiirokseen. Sekatekniikka on hyvin lähellä sydäntäni.

Kirja on minulle rakas myös muotonsa puolesta. Lapsuudessani minulla ei ollut mahdollisuutta käydä taidenäyttelyissä tai kokea muutoin kuvaa kuin kirjojen kautta. Kirjoja onneksi oli jo tuolloin helposti saatavilla sekä kotona että kirjastossa. Toivottavasti nämä taiteilijakirjani herättävät jotain myös katsojassa ja jos niin käy, kuulen siitä mielelläni.

Jätkäsaari handicraft evenings take place every other Wednesday in Jätkäsaari library. Crab your knitting, crocheting or any other craft you are doing with you and come to enjoy doing handicrafts together! In addition to sharing a nice hobby you can get tips and ideas. You can come every time or whenever you have time.

Handicrafters of all ages and of all skill levels can join. You are welcome to join exactly as you are. Just bring a handicraft with you that you can work on. It’s also possible to get help from the organiser of the evenings for basic techniques. Tea and small snacks are also provided. See you in the library!
