Tervetuloa mukaan Espoon kaupunginkirjaston ukulelen alkeiden jatkoryhmään. Soitamme tuttuja, lähinnä suomen-, englanninkielisiä lauluja. Välillä haastamme myös itseämme soittamalla melodioita ja opettamalla uusia sointuja ja komppeja. Ryhmässä rentous, välitön tunnelma ja yhteisöllisyys ovat tärkeitä asioita. Olet aina tervetullut mukaan! Kirjastolla on myös ukuleleja joita voit lainata tunnin ajaksi.

Sellon kirjaston musafestareiden esiintyjät ovat nyt julkaistu! Musafestareilla esiintyjinä toimivat kirjaston asiakkaat. Pääsemme päivän aikana kuulemaan paljon erityylisiä musiikkiesityksiä. Ota ystävä mukaan ja tule nauttimaan musiikista ja festareiden tunnelmasta Sellon kirjastoon klo 13.00 alkaen! Ohjelmaan tulee vielä tarkentavia tietoja esiintyjistä. Tekniikasta ja äänentoistosta vastaa kirjaston henkilökunta.

13.00 Vladi

Hanna Haapanen on helsinkiläinen laulaja-lauluntekijä ja omakustanneartisti, joka säveltää ja sanoittaa folk-henkisiä, runollisia kappaleitaan ensisijaisesti itselleen rohkaisuksi ja lohdutukseksi. Hän haluaa jakaa musiikista saamaansa toivoa muillekin, sillä yhden laulunsa sanoin “en ole yksin kun laulan”. Toukokuussa 2023 Hanna julkaisi toisen studioalbuminsa Hiljaa hyvä tulee, joka käsittelee odotuksen, kaipuun, yksinäisyyden ja toipumisen teemoja syvällisesti ja rehellisesti, mutta valoisalla pohjavireellä. Kaunista maisemointia levyn kitaravetoisiin kappaleisiin luovat tuottaja Viktori Pesosen (SpiritEagle) upeat sovitukset sekä vierailevat soittajat. Live-esiintyjänä Hanna on energinen, herkkä ja persoonallinen tulkitsija.

Nokkahuilutrio muodostuu kolmesta nokkahuiluyhtye Flauto Dolcen jäsenestä, jotka soittavat W.A. Mozartin Divertimento II:sta KV 229 osat Allegro, Menuetto, Larghetto ja Rondo.

15.00 Nina Camilla

When Nina Camilla was 9, she wrote her first song about a tiny teddy bear she had crafted at school. After a 40 year creative break, suddenly, during an intense period of darkness and despair, words and melodies started, again, to take shape in her head. She learned the ukulele to be able to make the songs come alive. In a couple of years she’s written another 25 songs and performed them at open stages and other events mainly in Helsinki and her home town Espoo. She says composing and singing have been crucial for her recovery.

During the long break she was, however, musically active with classical solo singing and several choirs, which she today sees as an advantage. Her wide vocal range reaches from a deep warmth to a high silverness.

Many of Nina’s songs are inspired by human interactions, heart-ache and recovery. The audience’s overwhelming feedback, especially when they often tell her that they can recognize themselves in her stories, has motivated her immensely.

Olemme kansainvälinen monikulttuurinen bändi, nimeltään OranskiMania. Meidän tyylimme on Pop-Rock fusion ja Klassik-instrumental. Laulujen kielinä ovat englanti ja ranska, Sellon musafestareilla soitamme ensimmäistä kertaa kappaleita uudelta albumiltamme.

Tervetuloa läksykerhoon Entressen kirjastoon!

Läksykerhoon ovat tervetulleita kaikki alakouluikäiset lapset. Läksykerho kokoontuu kahdesti viikossa, tiistaisin ja torstaisin klo 14-15 Entressen kirjastossa Espoon keskuksessa. Tarkempi paikka on vaihdellen Sininen huone tai Aistihuone.

Läksykerhossa on ohjaaja, joka auttaa lapsia läksyjen teossa sekä tukee suomen kielen vahvistumista. Suomen kieltä vahvistetaan muun muassa keskustelemalla ja yhdessä lukemalla. Lisäksi läksykerhossa on muuta toimintaa kuten liikkumista, leikkiä ja askartelua. Kerhon aikana on tarjolla välipalaa.
