Valkoinen illuusio Näyttelyn maalauksissa kuvatut interiöörit ja maalausten monokromaattiset sävyt ovat poimittu Kim Kardashianin valkoisesta miljoona kartanosta. Voguessa esitelty kartano on kuin kuratoitu lavaste täydellisen yläluokkaisen kodin ideasta. Suurin osa kartanon tiloista ei kuitenkaan sovellu asumis- ja elämistarkoitukseen, ellei kartanon koskematonta ulkonäköä pidä yllä vuorokauden ympäri omistautunut kotirouva tai mittava henkilökunta. Teokset heijastelevat ajatuksiani valkoisen värin ja kontrollin suhteesta, sekä huomiotani siitä, miten arkkitehtuuria voidaan käyttää korostamaan sukupuoli ja luokkaeroja. Kim Kardashianin kartanon sisutukseen kuuluu lukuisa valkoisia taideteoksia nimekkäiltä kuvataiteilijoilta ja modernintaiteen isiltä. Olen teoksissani pohtinut millaisia väripaletteja ja kuvan rakentamisen keinoja voin maalatessani käyttää, jotta teoksillani voisi olla mahdollisuus tulla kuratoiduiksi Kardashianin kartanoon.

White illusion The interiors and monochromatic color palette depicted in this exhibition are inspired by Kim Kardashian’s white million-dollar mansion. The mansion featured in Vogue is like staged set reflecting perfect upper-class home. However, most of the mansion’s spaces are not suitable for living and everyday purposes unless a dedicated housewife or a substantial staff maintains its pristine appearance around the clock. The works reflect my thoughts on the relationship between the color white and control, as well as my observations on how architecture can be used to emphasize gender and class differences. Kim Kardashian’s mansion’s interior includes numerous white artworks from renowned visual artists and fathers of modern art. In my works, I have pondered color pallettes and how to compose a painting, so that my art works could potentially be curated for the Kardashian mansion

Kaikki maalaukseni ovat ekspressiivisiä tulkintoja, joiden esikuvia on turha etsiä todellisuudesta tai luonnosta. Kasvien runsaus vie mielikuvamatkalle sinne, missä lämpimät tuulet puhaltavat ja kukat kukkivat, keskelle luonnon ja elämän monimuotoisuutta ja runsautta. Kasvohahmot haastavat sisäiseen dialogiin. Toivon, että antaudut omille tunteillesi ja kertomuksillesi. Näyttelyn teokset vaihtuvat.

In English

All my paintings are expressive interpretations; there is no need to look for examples in reality or nature. The abundance of plants is a mental journey to where warm winds blow and flowers bloom as the diversity and abundance of nature and life offer us. The characters are a challenge to engage in an internal dialogue. I hope you will surrender to your own feelings and storie. The paintings of the exhibition change.

Mina målningar är uttrycksfulla tolkningar som man inte behöver leta efter i verkligheten eller i naturen. Överflöd av växter tar dig med på en mental resa där de varma vindarna blåser och blommorna blommar, mitt i naturens och livets mångfald och överflöd. Ansikts figurerna utmanar deltagarna i en intern dialog. Jag hoppas att du överlämnar dig till din egen känsla och din historia. Målningar in utstälningen förändras.

Tuokio sisältää loruja, lauluja ja yhteisiä leikkejä. Loruttelu edistää ja tukee lapsen kielellistä kehitystä ja vahvistaa lapsen ja aikuisen suhdetta. Lorujen ja leikkien tukena käytetään erilaisia rytmejä ja liikettä.

Tuokio kestää noin 30 minuuttia, jonka jälkeen tilaan saa jäädä vielä 30 minuutiksi leikkimään, juttelemaan tai lukemaan kirjaston hauskoja ensikirjoja kaikessa rauhassa muiden osallistujien kanssa.

Suositellaan 0–3-vuotiaille lapsille oman aikuisen seurassa. Ota vauvalle oma viltti tai pehmoinen alusta köllöttelyä varten.

TottaTarua - lastenkirjafestari Pointin kirjastossa tarjoaa monenlaista tekemistä 0-10-vuotiaille perheineen. Lämpimästi tervetuloa tarinoiden lumoavaan maailmaan!

Perinteikäs lastenkirjafestari tarjoaa paljon iloista tekemistä ja koettavaa lastenkirjojen, teatterin, lastenmusiikin ja sanataiteen parissa. Kaikki ohjelmat ovat maksuttomia ja tapahtumaan on vapaa pääsy. Kahteen ohjelmaan on ennakkoilmoittautuminen, joista lisätietoja löydät alta. Tapahtuma järjestetään yhteistyössä Vantaan Sanataidekoulun kanssa.

Laulubussi starttaa ja pyörät ne pyörivät tällä koko perheen yhteisellä bussiretkellä lastenmusiikin pariin.

14-14.45 Teatteri Hevosenkenkä: Viiru ja Pesonen

Kun yksinäinen Ukko Pesonen saa naapuriltaan kissanpennun, ei hän arvaakaan kissan osaavan puhua. Ja millaisia seikkailuita Viirun kanssa onkaan vielä edessä!

11-11.45 ja 12.30-13.15 SUPERTÄHTI JA KOLMAS PUU VASEMMALTA - satutuokio klovnin ja muusikon kanssa.

Supertähti-klovni tippuu tähtitaivaalta tuntemattomaan metsään ja löytää puurivistöstä laulavan Puun. Kaksikko lähtee etsimään Puun puuttuvaa etunimeä katsojien ja metsästä löytyvien runojen avulla. Matkan varrella kaksikko kohtaa metsän ihmeitä ja Tähdelle aiemmin tuntemattomia kirjaimia ja tavuja. Löytääkö Puu nimensä ja oppiiko Supertähti lukemaan?

Klovnin ja muusikon esitys kertoo lukemaan opettelemisesta ja ystävyydestä sekä kannustaa tarinoiden ja lukemisen pariin leikin, musiikin ja klovnerian kautta. Esitys perustuu Kirsi Kunnaksen runoihin.

12.30-13.30 Runopaja lohikäärmeistä. Vetäjänä kirjailija Emilia Lehtinen.

Lohikäärmeiden kasvatuksen asiantuntija, kirjailija Emilia Lehtinen opastaa työpajassa tekemään riimirunoja hauskojen riimikääryleiden avulla. Samalla jaetaan parhaat niksit lohikäärmeiden kasvatukseen.

Ikäsuositus: 7+. Rajoitettu osallistujamäärä, toiveena osallistua koko 60 minuutin ajan. Rannekkeiden jako alkaa klo 10 infosta.

11-13 Taidetyöpaja Mur-kirjoihin liittyen. Vetäjinä kirjailija Kaisa Happonen ja kuvittaja Anne Vasko

Kaisa Happonen ja Anne Vasko tulevat TottaTarua-lastenkirjafestarille uusimman kirjansa kanssa. Mur - pieni lintukirja on syntynyt Tammen ja Kansallisgallerian yhteistyöstä. Työpajassa tehdään lintuja yhteiseen puuhun. Tervetuloa mukaan luomaan lintumetsää!\"

Nonstop-työpaja, eli osallistuminen oman aikataulun mukaan. Sopii ihan pienillekin oman aikuisen avustamana.

Pinssikone ruokalassa ja Kirjasairaala Puuhaamossa

Kirjasairaalassa pääset korjaamaan kirjapotilaita ja saat sen jälkeen viedä kirjan kotiin toipumaan. Sekä pinssikone että kirjasairaala sopivat ihan pienillekin oman aikuisen kanssa.

Sanataidepaja Puuhaamossa

Millaisia hahmoja löytyy kaupungista tai metsästä? Tai veden pinnan alta tai vaikka avaruudesta? Sanataidepajassa pääset valmistamaan pahvista oman sorminukkehahmon ja keksimään hahmolle sellaisia asioita, joista kukaan muu ei tiedä mitään!

Ikäsuositus: 4+. Toteuttajana Vantaan Sanataidekoulu.

Tehtävärata

Ikäsuositus: 2+.Tapahtuma-alueellaon viisi lyhyttä ja mielikuvitusta treenaavaa tehtävää, joita pienet lapset tekevät oman aikuisen seurassa. Lukutaitoiset lapset voivat tehdä tehtävät omatoimisesti. Aloitus infosta ja suunnistus ympäri taloa kartan avulla. Tehtävät voi tehdä vapaasti missä järjestyksessä tahansa. Lopetus infoon, josta jokaiselle osallistujalle pieni palkinto. Lisäksi yhteystietonsa jättäneet osallistuvat kustantajan uutuuskirjojen arvontaan.

Tervetuloa tutustumaan länsiafrikkalaisiin tansseihin ja treenaamaan liverytmien tahdissa elokuun viimeisinä arkipäivinä Kannelmäen Sitratorille!

Länsiafrikkalainen tanssi on iloista, energistä ja vauhdikasta. Se kohottaa kuntoa kuin huomaamatta sekä kehittää rytmitajua, keskittymistä ja koordinaatiokykyä. Liikekieli on kokonaisvaltaista ja liikeradat laajoja. Vuorovaikutus elävän musiikin kanssa antaa energiaa ja tuo tanssimiseen tunnelmaa!

Tunnit sisältävät alkulämmittelyn sekä tutustumista länsiafrikkalaiseen rytmiikkaan ja liikekieleen. Opit myös pienen koreografian. Lopuksi tehdään palauttava ja rentouttava loppuvenyttely.

Tunnit sopivat kaikille: voit tulla joko tutustumaan lajiin, tai konkarina ottamaan rennon varaslähdön alkavaan tanssisyksyyn!

Västafrikansk dans är glad, energisk och fartfylld! Klasserna innehåller uppvärmning och introduktion till västafrikanska rytmer och rörelsespråk. Du kommer också att få lära dig en liten koreografi.

Vi avslutar med stretching för återhämtning och avslappning.
Klasserna är lämpliga för alla: om du är nybörjare, kom och bekanta dig med dansstilen, eller om du är veteran, ta en tjuvstart till danshösten under avslappnade former!

Fritt inträde, vid regn dansar vi under tak! Ta med löst sittande danskläder, en svetthandduk och en vattenflaska.

Come and explore West African dances and get some exercise to the beat of live rhythms on the last weekdays of August at Sitratori square in Kannelmäki!

West African dance is cheerful, energetic and fast-paced. The classes include a warm-up session and introduction to West African rhythm and movement. You also learn a short choreography. The class ends with relaxing and restorative stretches.

The classes are suitable for everyone: you can come as a beginner to explore a new dance, or with previous experience to get a laid-back early start to the autumn of dance!

Free admission; in case of rain we dance under the canopy. Bring a casual dance outfit, a gym towel and a bottle of water.
