Tervetuloa kokeilemaan Satuseinän uutta Feel & Play -sovellusta Lasten tapahtumatilaan 3. kerrokseen 30.8.-11.9.!

Feel & Play on musiikillinen sovellus, jonka avulla harjoitellaan tunnetaitoja. Sovelluksen taustalla on ajatus, että jokaisella lapsella on oikeus ilmaista ja harjoitella tunnetaitoja omana itsenään, sellaisena kuin on. Kaikkien tunteiden tunnistaminen ja ilmaiseminen on jokaiselle lapselle sallittua, eikä tunteita luokitella hyviin tai huonoihin, positiivisiin tai negatiivisiin, sallittuihin tai kiellettyihin. Lasta kannustetaan kuuntelemiseen, keskittymiseen ja luovaan ilmaisuun.

Sovelluksen avulla lapsella on mahdollisuus saada samaistumisen kokemuksia ja välineitä tunneilmaisuun. Luovuutta herätellään tarinankerronnan, klassisen musiikin ja pelillisten osioiden avulla, joiden kautta lapsi pääsee itse kuuntelemaan, maalailemaan musiikin herättämiä tunteita, tai soittamaan fantasiasoitinta. Luova tekeminen on lapsen aisteille avain, jonka kautta opitaan, innostutaan, vahvistutaan ja rentoudutaan.

Sovelluksen pelilliset osiot ovat helppokäyttöisiä ja lapsiystävällisiä. Sovellus on suunnattu 5-8 vuotiaille, mutta se soveltuu helposti myös nuoremmille tai vanhemmille lapsille. Sovellus toimii parhaiten, kun siihen tutustutaan pienryhmissä yhdessä ohjaavan aikuisen kanssa.

Pilotointi järjestetään yhteistyössä MusicFairyTalesin kanssa.

BOOKPERFORMANCE is a literary and artistic concept as well as a world-view.

Here are the papers of a book, metaphorically leaves of a tree and individuals of a society. They got collectively painted during the BOOKPERFORMANCE event that took place on the 27th May 2023, at OODI.

Thanks to the energy and the synergy that was created all together within a linguistic and cultural diversity in the happening, a down-to-earth contribution about books and trees thus knowledge and nature was planted into the collective consciousness. The co-created paintings are sold and with the revenue trees are planted for the life on Earth.

You are welcome to see the documentation of this event which is showcased as a digital exhibition at OODI, at any time during 2 weeks, between 21st August and 3rd September.

Tämä tanssi- ja musiikkiesitys tutkii outouden ja tuttuuden kokemuksia. Se käyttää liikettä, ääntä ja intentiota ponnahduslautoina muuttuneisiin (olo)tiloihin. Nämä tilat kohdataan, niiden kanssa tullaan tutuiksi, niistä “palataan” ja jatketaan matkaa. Teoksen läpi on läsnä ihmisidentiteettiä laajentava representaatioleikki. Ihmiskehojen ja objektien käyttö pyrkii liukumaan arkisen, absurdin ja transsendenttisen välillä.

Go Strangen kuvittelevat, rakentavat ja esittävät Jacqueline Aylward, Maja Kalafatić ja Jesse Ojajärvi. Nämä eri maista ja erilaisista kulttuuriympäristöistä/maisemista tulevat taiteilijat käsittelevät mm. koti- ja ihmissuhteitaan työskentelemällä yhdessä.

Pro Cultura – työryhmä on organisoinut tämän kansainväliseen European Days of Jewish Culture 2023 ohjelmistoon kuuluvan Studia generalia – tilaisuuden, jossa kuullaan kulttuurialan ammattilaisten alustuksia ja keskustellaan juutalaisen kulttuurin erilaisista ilmenemismuodoista Euroopassa.

Yleisöllä on mahdollisuus esittää puhujille kysymyksiä, ja tutustua myös esillä olevaan juutalaista kulttuuria käsittelevään kirjanäyttelyyn. Ohjelmaan kuuluu myös musiikkituokioita. Ja otollisen sään vallitessa suunnataan vielä päivän päätteeksi tunnelmoimaan kulttuuripolku-kävelylle joihinkin juutalaisten historiaan Helsingissä liittyviin kohteisiin.

Osallistuminen päivän ohjelmaan on vapaa, eli voi valita vain itselle mielenkiintoisen esityksen tai kuunnella kaikki!

Tervetuloa kokeilemaan Satuseinän uutta Feel & Play -sovellusta Lasten tapahtumatilaan 3. kerrokseen 30.8.-11.9.!

Feel & Play on musiikillinen sovellus, jonka avulla harjoitellaan tunnetaitoja. Sovelluksen taustalla on ajatus, että jokaisella lapsella on oikeus ilmaista ja harjoitella tunnetaitoja omana itsenään, sellaisena kuin on. Kaikkien tunteiden tunnistaminen ja ilmaiseminen on jokaiselle lapselle sallittua, eikä tunteita luokitella hyviin tai huonoihin, positiivisiin tai negatiivisiin, sallittuihin tai kiellettyihin. Lasta kannustetaan kuuntelemiseen, keskittymiseen ja luovaan ilmaisuun.

Sovelluksen avulla lapsella on mahdollisuus saada samaistumisen kokemuksia ja välineitä tunneilmaisuun. Luovuutta herätellään tarinankerronnan, klassisen musiikin ja pelillisten osioiden avulla, joiden kautta lapsi pääsee itse kuuntelemaan, maalailemaan musiikin herättämiä tunteita, tai soittamaan fantasiasoitinta. Luova tekeminen on lapsen aisteille avain, jonka kautta opitaan, innostutaan, vahvistutaan ja rentoudutaan.

Sovelluksen pelilliset osiot ovat helppokäyttöisiä ja lapsiystävällisiä. Sovellus on suunnattu 5-8 vuotiaille, mutta se soveltuu helposti myös nuoremmille tai vanhemmille lapsille. Sovellus toimii parhaiten, kun siihen tutustutaan pienryhmissä yhdessä ohjaavan aikuisen kanssa.

Pilotointi järjestetään yhteistyössä MusicFairyTalesin kanssa.

BOOKPERFORMANCE is a literary and artistic concept as well as a world-view.

Here are the papers of a book, metaphorically leaves of a tree and individuals of a society. They got collectively painted during the BOOKPERFORMANCE event that took place on the 27th May 2023, at OODI.

Thanks to the energy and the synergy that was created all together within a linguistic and cultural diversity in the happening, a down-to-earth contribution about books and trees thus knowledge and nature was planted into the collective consciousness. The co-created paintings are sold and with the revenue trees are planted for the life on Earth.

You are welcome to see the documentation of this event which is showcased as a digital exhibition at OODI, at any time during 2 weeks, between 21st August and 3rd September.

Tapahtuma on osa Vanhusten Turva sr:n ja Vuosaaren kirjaston ikäihmisten aktivointiin suunniteltua sarjaa, joka toteutetaan neljänä peräkkäisenä tiistai-iltapäivänä syys-lokakuussa 2023. Sarjan tapahtumat ovat:

Ti 12.9. klo 13-14 Antti Koli opastaa kaupunkiluonnon ja monimuotoisuuden saloihin sanoin ja kuvin.

Ti 19.9. klo 13-14 Lähiluontokävely ja käytännön tutustuminen monimuotoisuutta edistäviin tekoihin Antti Kolin johdolla.

Ti 26.9. klo 13-14 Paikalliset toimijat esittelevät senioreille suunnattua toimintaansa. Mukana mm. Vuosaaren kirjasto, Vanhusten Turva sr ja Omakotisäätiö.

Ti 3.10. klo 13-14 Vuosaari eilen, tänään ja huomenna: Arkkitehti Petri Leppälä esittelee Vuosaaren historiaa ja tulevaisuutta kaupunkiympäristön/kaavoituksen näkökulmasta. Sen lisäksi esitellään vanhoja ja uudempia kuvia alueesta.

Tervetuloa osallistumaan textual repetition -performanssiteokseen Oodin Kirjataivaaseen 27. syyskuuta kello 17-19.

Teoksessa osallistujat lukevat sattumanvaraisesti valikoituja rivejä kirjoista luoden toistuvan, mutta samalla koko ajan muuttuvan taideteoksen.
Taiteilija ohjaa englanniksi, mutta teokseen osallistuminen ei edellytä englannin kielen taitoa.


Textual repetition is a participatory performance by artist Tina Mariane Krogh Madsen, taking place in the Oodi library's Book Heaven on its top floor.

Madsen will in this space facilitate a durational and processual reading anchored in the books present on the shelves around. Visitors of the library will be invited to read lines from each a chosen book and repeat them, in a loop, knowing that these will never be exactly the same, but have difference inscribed through their continuous enunciation as repetitions.

The lines are chosen randomly by each participant slipping a cardboard page into a book of their choice, isolating a section. The performance thus wants people to read together, with their voices overlapping, multiplying, coming together and creating new affective constellations and resonances. When there are no audience members reading, the artist will read aloud alone.

This performance concept is part of Madsen's ongoing research in text in / as performance art. It was first performed by Madsen at the Performance Art Bergen Open Festival in Norway in 2022 in a hotel library and will continue to seek out places which host books.

Tina Mariane Krogh Madsen (DK) is an artist and researcher, who works in the intersection between performance art, sound, open technology, and matter. Madsen is currently a doctoral candidate at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture at the Department of Art and Media (FI), researching in environmental, ethico-aesthetic performance art and affective relations in the context of climate change. Madsen has performed internationally in many formats and contexts and is the founder, organizer, and curator of performance protocols, a nomadic platform for instruction-based art and collaborative processes.
