Ennakkoilmoittautumista tai aiempaa osaamista ei tarvita, mutta työpaja sopii myös enemmän piirtäneille. Kirjasto tarjoaa tarvikkeet. Halutessasi voit ottaa mukaan omia tusseja ja luonnoskirjoja. Voit myös kokeilla hyödyntää sketsauksessa kirjaston valopöytää sekä iPadeja.

Kaikille avoin ja ilmainen kielikahvila suomen kielen puhumiseen. Kielikahvilaan voi osallistua, jos haluaa oppia puhumaan suomea. Myös aloittelijat ovat tervetulleita.

Kielikahvilaan ei tarvitse ilmoittautua etukäteen. Mukaan voi tulla koska tahansa.

Kielikahvilassa opit puhumaan arkielämän suomen kieltä. Kielikahvilassa pääset puhumaan suomea suomalaisten kanssa.

Vuosaaren kirjaston Keskiviikkokerhossa askarrellaan, puuhaillaan ja pelaillaan yhdessä koulun jälkeen. Tervetuloa mukaan kaikki koululaiset!

Keskiviikkokerhon ohjelma vaihtelee viikoittain askartelusta ja taiteilusta kortti- tai lautapelien pelailuun. Kerho kokoontuu Vuosaaren kirjaston lastenalueen suuren pöydän ääressä joka keskiviikko klo 15-16, ja mukaan mahtuu kerralla noin 12 lasta. Ei ennakkoilmoittautumista!

Interested in arts and crafts and board games? Want to hang out together after school? Everyone is welcome to join us at the Wednesday Club at Vuosaari Library!

The Wednesday Club, Keskiviikkokerho, is open to all children aged 7-12 who wish to participate in joint activities in the library after school. The club’s program varies weekly from arts and crafts to playing card or board games. The club gathers around the large table in the children's area of Vuosaari library every Wednesday from 3 to 4 p.m. The table seats about 12 children at a time. No enrolment in advance is needed.

The club instructors speak mainly Finnish, but children with little or no skills in Finnish language are welcome to join the club nonetheless. See you at the library!

Suomen kielen keskusteluryhmä Pasilan kirjastossa joka maanantai ja keskiviikko klo 14-16 (14.8.-13.12.2023) sekä e-Ekstra-nettikielikahvila Skypessä torstaisin klo 17-19.

Suomen kielen taitosi ei tarvitse olla sujuvaa mutta toivomme, että osaat jo hiukan ennestään. Vietämme rennosti aikaa yhdessä jutellen. Jännittää ei tarvitse – rohkeasti mukaan! Tuo kaverisikin!

Meillä on tavallisesti useampi tasoryhmä vasta-alkajista enemmän osaaviin.

Pasila Library's language café Suoma is a discussion group in Finnish that meets every Monday and Wednesday at 14-16 at Pasila Library (14.8. - 13.12.2023), and on Skype as e-Ekstra every Thursday at 17-19.

Your Finnish language skills do not have to be fluent, but we hope that you already know a little. We spend a relaxed time talking together. There's no need to be nervous - feel free to come along! Also bring your friend with you!

Tervetuloa Ison Omenan kirjaston lorutuokioihin!

22.8. tuokio järjestetään kirjaston nuortentila VOXissa, 23.8. lastenosaston leikkialueella. Molemmat tuokiot alkavat klo 10.

Lorutuokiot sopivat alle 1-vuotiaille vauvoille vanhempineen. Loruttelu rentouttaa, edistää vauvan kielellistä kehitystä ja auttaa vauvaa hahmottamaan oman kehonsa rajoja.

Vauvalle on hyvä ottaa mukaan pehmoinen alusta tuokiota varten. Lorutuokion kesto on noin 30 minuuttia.

Petri Kuljuntausta: Petri Kuljuntausta on suomalainen säveltäjä, muusikko ja äänitaiteilija, jonka musiikkia on julkaistu Suomen ohella muun muassa Australiassa, Englannissa ja Yhdysvalloissa. Hän on kirjoittanut myös useamman kirjan elektronisesta musiikista ja äänitaiteesta.

Heta Bilaletdin: Heta Bilaletdin luo samplereiden, vokaalien, tietokoneen, satunnaisten esineiden ja pölyisten neliraitanauhojen avulla äänisommitelmia, muhjuisia biittejä, vedenalaisia maastoja, kimmeltäviä melodioita, eräänlaista dubia, dekonstruoitua lofi-poppia tai sijoiltaan suistunutta polyrytmiteknoa.

Orpokotijuhlat Saarella: dark ambient -projekti, jossa pohjamateriaalina käytetään uukuniemeläisyytenä tunnetun luterilaisen herätysliikkeen vuotuisilta juhlilta äänitettyä äänimaisemaa. Juhlia on järjestetty yli sata vuotta. Projektin perustaja on Paavoharjustakin tunnettu Lauri Ainala. Yhtye paikkaa valitettavasti keikan peruuttaneen Värvöttäjän.

BOOKPERFORMANCE is a literary and artistic concept as well as a world-view.

Here are the papers of a book, metaphorically leaves of a tree and individuals of a society. They got collectively painted during the BOOKPERFORMANCE event that took place on the 27th May 2023, at OODI.

Thanks to the energy and the synergy that was created all together within a linguistic and cultural diversity in the happening, a down-to-earth contribution about books and trees thus knowledge and nature was planted into the collective consciousness. The co-created paintings are sold and with the revenue trees are planted for the life on Earth.

You are welcome to see the documentation of this event which is showcased as a digital exhibition at OODI, at any time during 2 weeks, between 21st August and 3rd September.

Novellikoukussa nautitaan käsitöistä ja ääneen luetuista novelleista kahvi- tai teekupin äärellä.

Voit ottaa mukaan oman käsityön tai osallistua yhteiseen hyväntekeväisyyskohteeseen.

Vuosaaren kirjastossa novellikoukkuillaan syksyllä 2023 tiistaisin 22.8., 19.9., 31.10., 28.11. ja 12.12. klo 17:30 - 19:30. Novellikoukku järjestetään kirjaston lehtialueella.
