Leena Sainion kolmas runokokoelma KIRJOSIIPI – puhe(e)tta puheesta valaisee
puheen roolia eri elämäntilanteissa tässä arvaamattomassa maailmassa. KIRJOSIIPI käsittelee puhetta erityisesti altavastaajan vinkkelistä: lapsen kielenkehityksellisiä häiriöitä, puheen tuoton fysiologisia ja psykologisia vaikeuksia, ihmissuhteiden kommunikaatio-ongelmia ja eri sairauksien aiheuttamaa puheen menetystä.

Kokoelman keskiössä on nimisikermä Kirjosiipi. Siinä kuvataan äidin tuntoja, kun selviää, että hänen pienellä nepsylapsellaan on kielellisen kehityksen erityisvaikeus (ent. dysfasia).

Kustantaja: Kuinka päädyit kirjoittamaan runoja puheen kehityksen vaikeuksista?
Runoilija: Oma esikoiseni on Asperger-oireinen dysfaatikko. Hänen lapsuudestaan
on jo aikaa, mutta vasta nyt tuli tarve keriä asiaa auki äidin näkökulmasta. Ehkä tässä on mukana jotain vertaistuellistakin. Näistä ilmiöistä on saatavilla paljon asiapitoista tietoa, mutta mielestäni on hyvä, että kerrotaan myös tunteista, joita tämänkaltaiset ongelmat
väistämättä aiheuttavat.

Improtangossa keskitytään selkeään ja intuitiiviseen viestintään. Siinä luodaan aito vuoropuhelu, jossa molemmilla kumppaneilla on vaikutusvaltainen rooli. LäksyHelpissä Punaisen Ristin vapaaehtoiset ohjaajat auttavat lapsia, nuoria ja aikuisia läksyjen teossa. Toiminta on tarkoitettu peruskoulun ja toisen asteen oppilaille. Toiminta on maksutonta ja kaikille avointa. Tervetuloa!

LäksyHelppi on torstaisin Keskustakirjasto Oodissa. Syksyn ensimmäinen Läksyhelppi 17.8. järjestetään poikkeuksellisesti 3.krs lastenalueen yläparvella.

Konsertissa esiintyvät Sibelius-Akatemian oopperaluokalla opiskeleva pakilalainen oopperalaulaja ja näyttelijä Sakari Topi sekä pianisti, säveltäjä ja musiikkipedagogi Stefanie Tuurna.

Tervetuloa mukaan Espoon kaupunginkirjaston tarjoamaan 7–12-vuotiaiden ukuleleryhmään. Tunneilla on tarkoitus tutustua musiikkiin monipuolisesti. Harjoittelemme sointujen, sekä melodian soittamista kappaleiden avulla. Lisäksi teemme musiikin hahmottamista ja ryhmäytymistä tukevia harjoituksia leikkimällä ja piirtämällä. Opetus on oppilaslähtöistä. Kirjastolla on runsaasti ukuleleja, joita voi lainata tunnin ajaksi.

Welcome to the Espoo City Library Ukulele Group 7- to 12-year-old. In the Ukulele Group we learn basic of the music theory and playing an ukulele. We practice how to play melody and harmony with well-known songs. Teaching is student-centered. The Library has ukuleles that can be borrowed for the lesson.

Pelaamaan pääsee enintään 4 pelaajaa samaan aikaan, peliaikaa on 30 minuuttia. Pelattavat pelit ovat ikärajoiltaan PEGI 3 ja PEGI 7. Vuoroa odotellessasi voit pelata vaikka lauta -tai korttipelejä.

Drawing Time is about having fun while drawing. Together we will learn some drawing tricks and magic. The drawing sessions are hosted by Vaidas, a long time illustrator and concept artist for film and games. He comes with lived experience and some fun stories from inside the industry. From August 2022 forward, the Reformative Society will hold homework club at Sello Library every Tuesday and Thursday from 4.30 to 6 p.m. for classmates who need help doing homework. Especially children who need help with the Finnish language are welcome in the club. The homework club is organized in the children’s section of the library in Jaminurkka.

Tervetuloa mukaan Espoon kaupunginkirjaston ukulelen alkeiden jatkoryhmään. Soitamme tuttuja, lähinnä suomen-, englanninkielisiä lauluja. Välillä haastamme myös itseämme soittamalla melodioita ja opettamalla uusia sointuja ja komppeja. Ryhmässä rentous, välitön tunnelma ja yhteisöllisyys ovat tärkeitä asioita. Olet aina tervetullut mukaan! Kirjastolla on myös ukuleleja joita voit lainata tunnin ajaksi.
