Juttelemme suomeksi arkipäivän asioista helpolla suomen kielellä. Voit osallistua kerran tai vaikkapa joka kerta.

Kielikahvila kokoontuu joka tiistai kirjastossa klo 17.30-18.30.

Ota hetki aikaa itsellesi ja tule pitämään pieni hengähdystauko! Meditaatiokurssilla opit meditaation alkeet.

Meditaatiokurssi järjestetään tiistaisin 6.2.-27.2.2024 klo 17.30-18.30 Lumon kirjaston lukusalissa. Ohjaajana toimii Tarakini Rainaho. Kurssi on maksuton.

Ilmoittaudu mukaan kurssille alla olevasta linkistä 5.2.2023 mennessä. Yhdellä ilmoittautumisella ilmoittaudut mukaan kaikille neljälle tapaamiskerralle. Kurssin maksimiosallistujamäärä 10 henkilöä.

Voit ottaa halutessasi oma jumppa- tai joogamaton mukaan. Meditoida voi myös tuolilla istuen.

Jenni Kokander ja Jarno Paalasmaa keskustelevat siitä, missä tilanteissa vanhemman pitää käyttää valtaa ja millaisissa asioissa lapsi saa päättää itse. Milloin on järkevää asettaa rajoja ja milloin antaa vapautta?

Miksi hyvä vanhemmuus on nykyään monille niin vaikeata?

Kaverivanhemmuus on yleistyvä kasvatustyyli, jossa vanhempi kysyy jatkuvasti lapsen mielipidettä ja pyrkii olemaan lapselleen mahdollisimman paljon mieliksi. Kasvatustyyli on kuitenkin lapselle haitallinen. Mitä nuorempi lapsi on, sitä turvattomammalta lapsesta tuntuu, kun päätösvalta luovutetaan hänelle. Lapsi hyötyy rajoista, säännöistä ja rutiineista. Kirja auttaa löytämään niiden oikean suhteen. Kirjassa hyödynnetään taitavasti kasvatuksen suurten klassikoiden oivalluksia sekä autetaan lukijaa ymmärtämään lapsen ja nuoren ikäkausia ja kehitysvaiheita.

Kasvatusvaikuttaja, tietokirjailija ja rehtori Jarno Paalasmaa on työskennellyt opettajana yli kaksikymmentä vuotta. Hän on kahden kouluikäisen lapsen isä ja yhden isäpuoli. Paalasmaa on asiantuntijana Yle Areenassa julkaistussa seitsemän osaisessa Kasvatusviisautta kiireisille -podcast-sarjassa. Paalasmaan aiempia teoksia ovat muun muassa Aktivoi oppilaasi (PS-kustannus, 2014), Maailman parhaat kasvatusajatukset (Into Kustannus, 2016), Steinerkoulun ABC (Into Kustannus, 2019) sekä Kasvatusviisautta kiireisille (Into Kustannus, 2021).

Onko sinulla ongelmia tietokoneen, kännykän, tabletin tai läppärin kanssa, tai haluatko oppia uutta sähköisistä palveluista? Varaa tunnin aika Enterin vertaisopastajalle! Tunnin mittaiset opastukset ovat Kannelmäen kirjastossa tiistai-iltapäivisin (klo 14-15 ja 15-16). Varaathan ajan etukäteen esim. kirjaston tiskiltä tai puhelimitse. Tuttu opastajamme Hanspeter opastaa. Enterin digiopastus on henkilökohtaista ja siinä edetään opastettavan omaan tahtiin ja rauhallisesti. Opastus on avointa ja maksutonta kaikille senioreille.

Maaliskuussa 19.3. ja 26.3.2024 ei ole opastusta hiihtoloman takia.

Jos joudut perumaan aikasi, ilmoitathan siitä hyvissä ajoin eli mielellään edellisenä päivänä tai opastuspäivän aamuna. Näin voimme antaa peruuntuneen aikasi jollekulle toiselle.

The Language Café is an open meeting place for anyone interested in different cultures and the Finnish language.

Your language skills need not be fluent, but we hope that you speak some Finnish. There will be coffee and tea in a safe and friendly environment.

The event is organized on Tuesdays at 2pm from 16th of Jan until 14th of May.
