Malmin Valon juhla rakentuu Maria Baric Companyn valoa säkenöivien katuteatteriteosten ympärille Malmitalon edessä.

Pimeän laskeuduttua tulisirkuksella ja kipinöivällä visuaalisella teatterilla maustettu Valon juhla valaisee Malmitalon ympäristön säkenöiväksi valo- ja tulitaiteen estradiksi. Teosten visuaalisuus kietoutuu elävän tulen ympärille. Malmin Valon juhla tuo ihmiset yhteen tunnelmoimaan elävän tulen, musiikin ja tarinoiden äärelle! Lämpimästi siis tervetuloa kokemaan pimenevän illan sekä ulkotulien ja säkenöivien pyroefektien luoma valojen ja varjojen leikki kanssamme!

Maailman linnut kokoontuvat ja huomaavat, että heiltä puuttuu kuningas. Eräs linnuista lupaa johdattaa halukkaat matkalle kuninkaan luo. Kuka pääsee perille, ja mitä se oikeastaan tarkoittaa? Jos haluamme päästä matkasta osalliseksi, meidän on lähdettävä lintujen mukaan. Matka kohti tuntematonta alkaa.

Lintujen matka on Maria Baric Companyn 30. kantaesitys. Teoksen tematiikka on saanut inspiraatiota persialaisen suufimystikon samannimisestä mestariteoksesta. Visuaalisesti kaunis sanaton musiikillinen yhteisöllinen teos yhdistelee salaperäisiä valoilmiöitä, nukketeatteria ja musiikkia ja toteutuu osittain katuteatterikulkueen muodossa.

\"Varjoista valoon, tuhkasta toivoon.\"

Ennen Ave Fenix tuliteatteriesitystä yleisöllä on mahdollisuus vierailla työpajapisteellä kirjoittamassa tulilinnulle oma salainen viesti. Viestit kirjoitetaan tai piirretään punaisille sydämen muotoisille paperilappusille, jotka sinetöidään taittelemalla ne kiinni, jolloin sydänviesti muuttuu kyyneleen muotoiseksi.

Kyyneleen sisään voi kätkeä sellaisia pieniä tai suuria suruja, murheita, harmeja tai huolia, joista haluaa päästää irti. Feenikslinnun kannettavaksi jätettyjä viestejä ei lueta, vaan ne asetetaan tulilinnun rautaiseen sydämeen, jossa ne esityksen aikana syttyvät liekkeihin ja palavat tuhkaksi symbolisoiden uutta voimaa mennä elämässä eteenpäin, vaikeuksista huolimatta.

Kerrotaan, että kaunis feenikslintu lentää apuun, kun apua kipeimmin tarvitsee. Mutta mitä tapahtuu, kun lintu itse ajautuu avun tarvitsijaksi? Musiikillinen nuotiotarina tarujen ihmeellisestä tulilinnusta toteutetaan tulinukketeatterin ja tulisirkuksen keinoin. Ave Fenix -teos on kiertänyt maailmalla saaden osakseen myös kansainvälistä tunnustusta, mm. Kanadasta ja Kuubasta. Palkittu tuliteatteriteos on kerännyt yleisöennätyksiä lukuisilla festivaaleilla.

Haluatko makean aloituksen jouluun? Tule Hakunilan kirjaston piparipajoihin koristelemaan pipareita kirjastolaisten kanssa maanantaina 18.12. klo 14-16.

Kirjasto tarjoaa piparit ja koristelutarvikkeet. Tapahtuma on maksuton ja kaikille avoin. Tarvitset vain iloisen joulumielen!

Tunnelmallisessa Hiljaa helkkyellen -joulukonsertissa kuullaan Mari Palon tulkintoja joulun kauneimmista ja rakastetuimmista sävelmistä.

Konsertissa kuullaan mm. Mökit nukkuu lumiset, Sydämeeni joulun teen ja Arkihuolesi kaikki heitä.

Mari Palo on yksi kysytyimmistä suomalaisista sopraanoista. Monipuolisena taitelijana Palo on valloittanut sädehtivällä läsnäolollaan yleisöjä yli genrerajojen.

Nukketeatteri PikkuKulkuri saapuu Tapulikaupungin kirjastoon torstaina 14.12. klo 18.

Interaktiivisen sing-along tyyppisen nukketeatteriesityksen teemana on erilaisuuden kokemus. Yleisö voi osallistua tarinan kulkuun laulamalla. Esitykseen sisältyviä lauluja ovat mm. Hämähämähäkki, Elefanttimarssi ja Täti Monika. Hyönteisten maailmaa tehdään tutuksi, hauskalla ja jännittävällä matkalla tavataan monenlaisia öttiäisiä.

27-vuotiaana kuollut kuvanveistäjä Karl Albert Tallroth oli poikkeuksellinen kuuro aikana, jolloin kuurot olivat tyypillisesti säälin, avun ja hyväntekeväisyyden kohteita.

Hänen kantava ajatuksensa oli, että kuurojen pitää itse auttaa itseään, eikä odottaa kuulevien apua. Taiteellisten pyrkimystensä ohella Tallroth oli suomalaisen kuurojen yhdistystoiminnan pioneeri, joka ymmärsi yhteisöllisyyden ja vertaistuen merkityksen kuurojen voimaantumisessa.

Karl Albert Tallrothin elämää ja kuolemaa kuvaava Kuvanveistäjä-näytelmä avaa yleisölle näkymän suoraan nuorena kuolleen viittomakielisen suurmiehen sieluun. Katsoja pääsee uppoutumaan kuuron elämismaailmaan ja olemaan “kuuro” yhdessä esityksen kanssa. Teoksessa murretaan auditiivisen maailman luomia normeja ja tuotetaan informaatiota käyttämällä kuurojen luonnollista aisti- ja kokemusmaailmaa.
