Lukuterveiset Itäkeskuksen kirjaston vanhimmasta lukupiiristä. Osa lukupiiriläisistä on ollut mukana jo vuodesta 2007, kun lukupiiri perustettiin.

Olemme lukeneet vuosien saatossa kaikkia kirjallisuuden lajeja ennakkoluulottomasti mutta kaunokirjallisuus on lempilajimme.

Lukupiiriin on tervetullut, vaikka ei olisi lukenutkaan käsiteltävää kirjaa, sillä myös kirjakeskustelun kuunteleminen virkistää. Mikään mielipide ei ole väärä, eikä ryhmässämme tarvitse jännittää.

Kokoonnumme kerran kuukaudessa yleensä kuukauden kolmantena tiistaipäivänä kello 13.00 - 15.00 kirjaston Kanerva-huoneessa. Tarjolla on kahvia ja keksejä!

Kirjaa varataan lukupiiriläisten noudettavaksi Itäkeskuksen kirjastoon. Halutessasi voit myös varata kirjan itse haluamaasi noutokirjastoon.

Syyslomaviikolla Tikkurilan kirjastossa tutustutaan bändisoittoon ja laulamiseen Musiikkikoulu Demon osaavien opettajien johdolla. Tiedossa on rentoa musisoimista, erilaisia harjoitteita ja kehorytmejä. Aiempaa soittotaitoa ei tarvita. Opettajat tuovat soittimet mukanaan, ota sinä itsellesi pientä syötävää ja vesipullo evästaukoa varten.

Soittopajat pidetään 17.10. tiistaina ja 18.10. keskiviikkona lastenosaston Laguunissa. Pajat ovat suunnattu alakouluikäisille.

Opastus tapahtuu asiakkaan omalla kannettavalla tietokoneella, tabletilla tai kännykällä. Opastuksissa käydään läpi laitteen käytön ja internetin palveluiden perusteita.

Ota laitteesi ja tarvittavat tunnukset sekä salasanat mukaan, niin enteriläiset auttavat sinua.
Ei ajanvarausta, kävijöitä opastetaan saapumisjärjestyksessä.

Tapulikaupungin kirjastossa järjestetään tietotekniikan ja älylaitteiden vertaisopastusta senioreille tiistaisin klo 12-14. Syksyllä opastusta on tarjolla 5.9.-12.12.

Vertaisopastajana toimii Enter ry:n vapaaehtoinen. Opastukset toimivat ajanvarauksella, voit varata ajan joko paikan päältä kirjastosta tai soittamalla 09 310 85075 (45 min / opastettava). Kerrothan varauksen yhteydessä yhteystietosi sekä lyhyesti, minkälaista opastusta tarvitset.

Opastuksiin voi tuoda oman tietokoneen, tabletin tai kännykän. Muista ottaa mukaan myös tarvittavat tunnukset ja salasanat! Kirjastolta on myös mahdollista lainata kannettava tietokone opastusta varten.

Enter ry:n tietotekniikan vertaisopastukset senioreille jatkuvat Tikkurilan kirjastossa tiistaisin 5.9.-12.12.2023 klo 12-14. Tunnin henkilökohtaiseen opastukseen ilmoittaudutaan etukäteen joko puhelimitse numerosta 043 8248 307 tai käymällä kirjastossa (elokuusta alkaen). Opastusajat ovat klo 12-13 ja 13-14.

Opastukset pidetään aikuistenosastolla toisessa kerroksessa kokoushuone Voimalassa. Oman kannettavan tietokoneen, tabletin tai älypuhelimen voi ottaa mukaan.

Noudatamme opastuksissa huolellista hygieniaa ja opastamme kasvosuojien
kanssa. Tule opastukseen vain terveenä ja käytä omaa kasvosuojaa.

Haluaisitko apua ja neuvoja tietokoneen, internetin tai sähköpostin peruskäyttöön?

Enter ry:n maksutonta tietotekniikkaopastuksia on tarjolla Vuosaaren kirjastossa syys- ja kevätkaudella. Syksyllä 2023 opastusta tarjotaan ajanvarauksella tiistaisin, keskiviikkoisin ja torstaisin klo 10-12 ajalla 5.9.2023 - 13.12.2023.

Opastus tapahtuu asiakkaan omalla kannettavalla tietokoneella, mobiililaitteella tai kirjaston asiakaskoneella. Opastuksissa käydään läpi tietokoneen käytön ja internetin palveluiden perusteita. Opastus kestää yhden tunnin. Opastusaika varataan etukäteen joko puhelimitse numerossa 09 31085098 tai paikan päällä kirjastossa. Asiakkaalla voi olla opastukseen vain yksi varaus kerrallaan.

Lämpimästi tervetuloa mukaan iloiseen ja avoimeen Perhekahvilaan, jossa perheet voivat tutustua paikkakunnan muihin vanhempiin ja tarjota lapsille ikäistään leikkiseuraa. Perhekahvilassa voit nauttia rennosta yhdessäolosta muiden samassa elämäntilanteessa olevien vanhempien kanssa. Kahvittelun lomassa on hyvä tilaisuus vaihtaa kuulumisia, jakaa kokemuksia ja saada vertaistukea. Lapsetkin pääsevät mukaan leikkimään ja löytämään uusia leikkikavereita kirjastossa.

Perhekahvila järjestää monipuolista toimintaa ja erilaisia aktiviteetteja kirjastossa tiistaisin klo 9.30-11.30. Voitte yhdessä leikkiä lasten kanssa ja suunnitella tulevia tapahtumia yhdessä muiden kävijöiden kanssa toiveidenne mukaisesti.

Perhekahvilat ovat vanhempien aloitteesta syntyneitä ja vapaaehtoisvoimin pyöriviä kohtaamispaikkoja, joissa jokainen osallistuja on tärkeä osa yhteisöä.

Lorutuokioita järjestetään joka tiistai klo 10 kokoushuone Kanervassa.

Tiedossa loruja, runoja, leikkejä ja yhdessä hassuttelua! Loruttelu tukee lapsen kielellistä kehitystä ja vahvistaa lapsen ja aikuisen suhdetta. Lorujen ja leikkien tukena käytetään erilaisia materiaaleja, rytmejä ja liikettä.

Tuokiossa lorutellaan noin 30 minuuttia ja sen jälkeen tilaan saa jäädä vielä 30 minuutiksi leikkimään, juttelemaan ja muuten vain viettämään aikaa kaikessa rauhassa muiden osallistujien kanssa.

Suositellaan alle 3-vuotiaille oman aikuisen seurassa. Vanhemmat sisarukset saavat myös osallistua!

We welcome you to these meetings for Spanish-speaking families and babies. At PICNIC you can meet other families, make new friends, play, sing, learn together, and enjoy a safe gathering around Helmet's collection of children's literature in Spanish.

We look forward to seeing you every Tuesday, from 29 August, from 10 to 11 am, in the green room of the children's section of the Pasila Library.

All families are welcome. PICNIC is made by all of us, so come along and bring something to share!

Satutuokiossa tutustutaan yhdessä erilaisiin tarinoihin.

Kannelmäen kirjastossa satutuokiot pidetään tiistaisin 29.8.- 28.11.2023 klo 10.00-10.30. Ne on suunnattu 3-6 -vuotiaille lapsille.

Ryhmien ilmoittautuminen etukäteen kultus.fi-palvelussa: Kannelmäen kirjaston satutuokiot. Satutuokioon mahtuu useampi ryhmä kerrallaan.

A site-specific audiopiece that begins in Oodi central library, and takes the listener on a narrated, comical, musical wander around the railway station and surroundings, and finishes back in Oodi.

The listener first collects a map entitled \"Adventures in White Privilege\" from the brochure stand next to the info desk on the first floor of Oodi Central Library. The map includes a QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone, which will open a link where the audiopiece can be either streamed or downloaded. The listener can then hear the track through headphones and follow the directions of the audio and the map.

For potential listeners who require the loan of headphones and/or mp3 player to access the piece, there will be a small number available on request at the info desk.

The piece is free of charge and will be launched at 15.00 on 24.09.23 and will be available at any time during Oodi's opening hours until 24.10.23.

The piece is in English, though transcripts in Finnish will be available soon.

Saima Harmajan kehittymiseen sydänten runoilijaksi ja lopulta ilmiöksi vaikutti oleellisesti äidin, kansantaloustieteilijän ja yhteiskunnallisen monivaikuttajan Laura Harmajan, tyttärensä sairauden aikana antama tuki tämän runoilijan työssä. Saiman varhaisen kuoleman (1937) jälkeen oli Laura-äidin kulttuurihistoriallisestikin merkittävä panostus tyttären henkisen perinnön vaalimisessa. Vaikuttavinta oli kesken jääneen viimeisen kokoelman julkaisukuntoon saattaminen, ja heti sen perään menestysteokseksi nousseen Kootut runot sekä runoilijakehitys päiväkirjojenja kirjeiden valossa (WSOY 1938) kirjan koostaminen.

Nyt saadaan todellisen asiantuntijan antamaa selkoa runoilija Saiman äidin Laura Harmajan päämäärätietoisesta ja kiehtovasta elämäntyöstä kodin taloustieteen uranuurtajana, kun Helsingin yliopiston kuluttajaekonomian professori Visa Heinonen kertoo asiasta juurta jaksaen. Väitöskirjassaan Talonpoikainen etiikka ja kulutuksen henki (1998) Heinonen toteaa: ”(---) Laura Harmaja oli massakulutusyhteiskunnan läpimurtovaihetta ennakoinut kirjoittaja. Hänen kirjoituksensa ja toimintansa liittyivät 1920- ja 1930-luvun Suomessa kotitalousliikkeen nousuun sekä professionalisoitumispyrkimykseen, joka huipentui yliopisto-oppituolien perustamiseen toisen maailmansodan jälkeen.”

Professori Visa Heinosen esityksen jälkeen on aikaa kysymyksille ja keskustelulle, jossa vastaamassa ja kysymyksiä esittämässä on myös keväällä julkaistun elämäkerran Järjellä ja tunteella – Laura Harmajan traaginen elämä (Warelia 2023) kirjoittaja FT, tietokirjailija Ritva Ylönen.
