Tervetuloa vuoristovaellusiltaan!

Omatoimisten majalta-majalle vaellusten suunnittelusta ja toteutuksesta kertomassa Aku-Petteri Korhonen. Hän on kirjoittanut useita kirjoja kokemuksistaan Italian, Itävallan, Ranskan, Saksan ja Sveitsin Alpeilla, Tatra-vuoristossa sekä Pyreneillä. Tilaisuus sopii sekä vaellusta vuoristossa että kirjan ääressä nojatuolissa suunnitteleville. Tarjolla myös vaelluskuumeen suurella todennäköisyy-dellä herättäviä valokuvia!

Leena Sainio on helsinkiläinen runoilija. Hänen runoutensa luovii yhteiskunnallisissa
kipupisteissä tarjoten lukijalle samaistumispintaa ja vertaistukea. Sainion runoutta leimaa usein vino
huumori, joka voi kukkia värikkäänä elämän kovimmissakin paikoissa.
Leena Sainio tunnetaan myös aktiivisena lavarunoilijana. Laulupedagogin ammatti on ollut
hyödyksi tässä runouden fyysisessä lajissa.

Leena Sainion kolmas runokokoelma KIRJOSIIPI – puhe(e)tta puheesta keskittyy
puheen merkitykseen tässä epävakaassa maailmassa.
Hyvällä puhetaidolla pärjää pitkälle. Mutta kaikki eivät ole puheviestinnän
mestareita.
Kirjosiipi valottaa puhetta ja puhumista erityisesti sen nurjalta puolelta. Puheen- ja
kielenkehityksen ongelmat, äänneviat, väärinymmärtäminen, ihmissuhdemykkyys ja
eri syistä johtuva puheen katoaminen vaikeuttavat kommunikaatiota ja hankaloittavat
elämää.
Tärkeää teemaa lähestytään tunteella: kunnioittavasti ja herkästi, huumoria
unohtamatta.

Työpajassa pääset tekemään oman digimaalauksen ammattilaisen opastuksella. Maalaukset tulostetaan ja liimataan itse valittuun pintaan, esimerkiksi kirjankanteen. Valmiit teokset voi viedä kotiin tai jättää esille kirjastoon taidenäyttelyyn. Työpajassa saa tehdä myös taidepäiväkirjan teoksiin pohjautuen. Vapaa pääsy! Ei ennakkoilmoittautumista. Maanantaisin klo 17.00-18.30, Sellon kirjaston Jaminurkassa

Tervetuloa mukaan soittamaan ukulelea iloiseen joukkoomme! Tässä ryhmässä soitetaan rennossa tunnelmassa tuttuja ja tuntemattomiakin suomen- ja englanninkielisiä lauluja. Opettelemme myös mm. melodiansoittoa ja erilaisia komppeja. Rento ote ja yhteisöllisyys ovat ryhmälle tärkeitä asioita. Kirjastolla on ukuleleja, joita voit lainata tunnin ajaksi. Aikaisempi soittotausta on suotavaa. Opetusta saa suomeksi ja englanniksi.

Osallistuminen on maksutonta.

Welcome to the Espoo City Library Advanced Ukulele Group. We play popular and unknown Finnish and English tunes. We challenge ourselves by learning new chords, melody playing and strumming patterns. Relaxing atmosphere and communality are important values of the group. The library has ukuleles which you can borrow for the lesson. Participation is free of charge and no pre-registration is required.

Oodin shakkikerho kokoontuu taas syksyllä Oodin ensimmäisessä kerroksessa maanantaisin klo 14-16 alkaen 4.9.2023. Shakin opetusta tarjolla klo 16-17.
