Haluaisitko apua ja neuvoja tietokoneen, internetin tai sähköpostin peruskäyttöön?

Enter ry:n maksutonta tietotekniikkaopastuksia on tarjolla Vuosaaren kirjastossa syys- ja kevätkaudella. Syksyllä 2023 opastusta tarjotaan ajanvarauksella tiistaisin, keskiviikkoisin ja torstaisin klo 10-12 ajalla 5.9.2023 - 13.12.2023.

Opastus tapahtuu asiakkaan omalla kannettavalla tietokoneella, mobiililaitteella tai kirjaston asiakaskoneella. Opastuksissa käydään läpi tietokoneen käytön ja internetin palveluiden perusteita. Opastus kestää yhden tunnin. Opastusaika varataan etukäteen joko puhelimitse numerossa 09 31085098 tai paikan päällä kirjastossa. Asiakkaalla voi olla opastukseen vain yksi varaus kerrallaan.

Enter ry opastaa tietotekniikkapulmissa keskiviikkoisin klo 10-12. Ajan voi varata kirjastosta tai soittamalla 09 3108 5076. Opastusta on syksyllä tarjolla 6.9.–29.11.

Tunnin opastukseen voi saapua oman laitteen kanssa, mutta myös kirjaston tabletin tai tietokoneen lainaus on mahdollinen. Opastukset ovat maksuttomia ja toimivat vertaistukiperiaatteella. Opastajien taustat tietoteknisissä asioissa ovat monenlaisia ja opastajat tekevät työtä vapaaehtoisesti harrastepohjalta, omien taitojensa mukaan. Kaikenlaiset kysymykset ja ongelmat ovat tärkeitä ja relevantteja ja lähes aina niihin löytyy jonkinlainen ratkaisu.

A site-specific audiopiece that begins in Oodi central library, and takes the listener on a narrated, comical, musical wander around the railway station and surroundings, and finishes back in Oodi.

The listener first collects a map entitled \"Adventures in White Privilege\" from the brochure stand next to the info desk on the first floor of Oodi Central Library. The map includes a QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone, which will open a link where the audiopiece can be either streamed or downloaded. The listener can then hear the track through headphones and follow the directions of the audio and the map.

For potential listeners who require the loan of headphones and/or mp3 player to access the piece, there will be a small number available on request at the info desk.

The piece is free of charge and will be launched at 15.00 on 24.09.23 and will be available at any time during Oodi's opening hours until 24.10.23.

Are you a crafty international student, newly arrived to Helsinki? Or are you an English speaking Finn, looking for company to do your crafts with?

Hyvät Martat (Marttas of the University of Helsinki, HyM for short) invites you to join us at the international crafting club, starting this October!

The crafting club will meet every first Tuesday of the month from 17pm to 20pm at Kallio Library. The meeting times of the club for the year 2023 are as follows:
- 3.10
- 7.11
- 5.12

Bring your own crafts with you, be it knitting, crocheting, embroidery… What ever it may be! The club welcomes both beginner and more experienced crafters. If you need help with your crafting, the martta hosting the club, Ella (and other club members), will help you as best they can.

You can bring your own snacks and food with you. (Ella-martta is bringing coffee and oat milk for everyone!)

Oletko taitava kansainvälinen opiskelija, juuri saapunut Helsinkiin? Vai oletko englantia puhuva suomalainen, joka etsii seuraa käsitöiden tekemiseen?

Hyvät Martat (Helsingin yliopiston Martat, jatkossa HyM) kutsuvat sinut mukaan kansainväliseen käsityökerhoon, joka alkaa lokakuussa!

Käsityökerho kokoontuu joka kuukauden ensimmäisenä tiistaina kello 17.00–20.00 Kallion kirjastossa. Kerhon tapaamispäivät vuodelle 2023 ovat seuraavat:

Ota mukaasi omat käsityösi, olipa kyse sitten neulomisesta, virkkaamisesta, tai vaikkapa kirjonnasta – mitä tahansa se sitten onkin! Kerho toivottaa tervetulleeksi sekä aloittelijat että kokeneemmat käsityöharrastajat. Jos tarvitset apua käsityössäsi, Martta-juhlien isäntänä toimiva Ella (ja muut kerhon jäsenet) auttavat parhaansa mukaan.

Voit tuoda omat välipalasi ja ruokasi mukanasi. (Ella-Martta tuo kahvia ja kauramaitoa kaikille!)

Helsingin pohjoisen alueen kirjastot järjestävät yhteisen FIFA-turnauksen 13-18 vuotiaille nuorille.
Kuusi eri kirjastoa ottavat mittaa toisistaan tässä kisassa, jossa selviää alueen paras FIFA-pelaaja!


Kunkin kirjaston karsintapelien voittaja etenee finaaliin, joka järjestetään Malmin kirjastossa.
Finaalin parhaimmistolle on luvassa palkintoja.

Ilmoittautuminen alkaa 18.9. osoitteessa bit.ly/kirjastonfifa. Voit halutessasi ilmoittautua mukaan myös turnaukseen osallistuvassa kirjastossa.
Kuhunkin karsintaan mahtuu mukaan noin 8 pelaajaa. Pelinä toimii FIFA23 (Playstation 4, Viikin kirjastossa Playstation 5).
