Dekkariseuran lokakuun Dekkari-illan vieraaksi saapuu oululaistunut kirjailija, käsikirjoittaja ja näyttelijä Matti Laine, joka tunnetaan muun muassa Elias Viitikka -romaanisarjasta.

Lainetta on työllistänyt viime aikoina muun muassa Paratiisi-televisiosarjan kolmannen kauden pääkäsikirjoittajanana toimiminen ja sarjan kuvaukset. Muitakin käsikirjoitustöitä on tiedossa. Luetaan yhdessä - ryhmä

Luetaan yhdessä -verkosto tarjoaa maksutonta suomen kielen opetusta maahanmuuttajille. Ryhmä kokoontuu taas paikan päällä Oodissa tiistaisin klo 17.30-19.30.

Kaikki opettajat ovat vapaaehtoisia ja ryhmä pyrkii tukemaan eritasoisten oppijien kielen kehittymistä monipuolisesti. Olemme osa valtakunnallista verkostoa, joka tukee erityisesti maahanmuuttajanaisten kielen oppimista ja kotoutumista. Myös miehet ovat tervetulleita Oodin ryhmään.

Tule tutustumaan Oodin studioihin! Valikoimistamme löytyvät nyt uudistuneet studiot 5 ja 6, eli Bändi- ja laulustudio sekä Elektronisen musiikin studio.

Bändi- ja laulustudion valikoimiin kuuluvat mm karaoke, congat, bongot ja djembe, basso- ja kitaravahvistin, rummut sekä sähköpiano.

Elektronisen musiikin studiossa voit soittaa ja äänittää elektronista musiikkia. Studiosta löytyy DJ-dekki sekä useita erilaisia syntetisaattoreita.

SOITTOPAJAT TIISTAISIN klo 18-19 LAGUUNISSA

Hei koululainen, haluaisitko oppia soittamaan ukulelea? Tule soittamaan Tikkurilan kirjastoon yksin tai vaikka kaveriporukalla! Lasten- ja nuortenosastolla on mahdollista tutustua soittimeen matalalla kynnyksellä ohjatuissa ukulele-soittopajoissa.

Soittopajat järjestetään tiistaisin klo 18–19 lasten- ja nuortenosaston lukutila Laguunissa. Soittopajat ovat suunnattu alakoululaisille (7–12 v). Pajoja suunnitellaan järjestettäväksi joka toinen tiistai, mutta muutokset aikatauluun ovat vielä mahdollisia.

Tikkurilan kirjastosta löytyy kolme ukulelea, ja voit halutessasi ottaa myös oman soittimen mukaan. Pajoja ohjaa Ester Koponen. Opastus onnistuu suomen lisäksi myös englanniksi, ruotsiksi ja ranskaksi.

Oodissa kirjan aiheista keskustelevat Tuuli Orasmaan kanssa maidontuottaja Hanna-Mari Kasurinen Ivalosta (huom. vieras vaihtunut aiemmin ilmoitetusta), luonnonlaidunlihan tuottaja Sari Jaakola Salon Perttelistä (Herrakunnan Lammas Oy) sekä filosofi ja oikeudenmukaisuuden tutkija Teea Kortetmäki (Jyväskylän yliopisto). Pohdimme muun muassa, miksi ilmastokeskustelu tuntuu maatalousyrittäjien mielestä syyllistävältä ja miten ilmastotoimia voidaan tehdä oikeudenmukaisesti silloin, kun toimista ollaan eri mieltä. Miten vastakkainasettelua maaseudun ja kaupungin välillä voidaan lieventää ja miltä tuntuu kurkottaa oman kuplan ulkopuolelle?

Come to the free programming classes to learn about the basics of Linux operating system and Python programming. Classes can be held in Finnish and English, at Hakunila library, Vantaa, every Tuesday 5 September 2023 – 5 December 2023.

Länsimäen shakkikerho on avoin kaiken ikäisille vasta-alkajille. Tervetuloa mukaan! Shakkikerho kokoontuu joka tiistai klo 17 alkaen Länsimäen kirjaston neuvottelutilassa.

Shakkikerhon vetäjänä toimii Stigu, joka on kokenut shakkikonkari. Tarjolla perehdytystä pelin sääntöihin ja myös tietoa shakin historiasta.

Juttelemme suomeksi arkipäivän asioista helpolla suomen kielellä. Voit osallistua kerran tai vaikkapa joka kerta.

Haluaisitko harjoitella ääneen lukemista? Lukukoira on kärsivällinen kuuntelija, jonka kanssa lukemista ei tarvitse jännittää.

Varaa oma aikasi Itäkeskuksen kirjaston lastenosastolta tai numerosta (09) 3108 5890.

Yksi lukuhetki kestää noin 15 min. Lukuhetkeen osallistuvat lukija, koira ja koiran ohjaaja. Ohjaajan tehtävä on valvoa lukuhetkeä sivusta, mutta ei puuttua sen kulkuun.

Tule lukemaan, koira kuuntelee kaikilla kielillä!

Kennelliiton lukukoirat

Lukukoiratoiminnan tavoitteena on lukuharrastuksen edistäminen ja onnistuneen lukukokemuksen luominen. Koirien on todettu lisäävän ihmisen mielihyvähormonien määrää sekä rentouttavan mieltä, minkä vuoksi niiden vaikutus myös lukemiseen liittyvissä haasteissa on myönteinen. Koiralle lukemisen on todettu auttavan lukihäiriöisiä lapsia sekä aikuisia. Koiran läsnäolo vähentää lukemiseen liittyvää kynnystä ja stressiä. Koira ei arvostele, takerru virheisiin tai keskeytä vaan lukijalla on rauha harjoitella lukemista.

Läshunden är en tålmodig lyssnare som du kan läsa för utan att bli bedömd.

Reservera dig en tid på bibliotekets barnavdelning eller på telefon (09) 31085890.

Ett lästillfälle tar cirka 15 minuter. Läsaren, hunden och hundföraren deltar i lästillfället. Det är hundförarens jobb att övervaka lästillfället, men inte att störa det.

Kennelförbundets läshundar

Att få läsa för hunden är ett sätt att uppmuntra till läsning. En läshund har i uppgift att lyssna på läsaren och vara närvarande. En hund varken kritiserar eller anmärker om fel, läsningens långsamhet eller tvivel. Hundens närvaro hjälper läsaren att slappna av och lindrar stress.

Tervetuloa kuuntelemaan satuja Maunulan kirjastoon!

3–6-vuotiaille suunnatut satutuokiot järjestetään kerran kuussa tiistaisin klo 18. Myös vanhemmat ovat tervetulleita kuuntelemaan satuja ja nauttimaan tarinatuokiosta lasten kanssa.
Satutuokion kesto on noin 20min.

Syksyn iltasatutuokiot:

ti 12.9. klo 18
ti 3.10. klo 18
ti 14.11. klo 18

Iltasatutuokioon ei tarvitse ilmoittautua. Satutuokio pidetään lastenosastolla.
