Tervetuloa Länsimäen kirjaston monikieliseen käsityökerhoon! Kerhossa sukelletaan kevään aikana ompelu- ja kirjontamaailmaan. Ompele oma kangaskassi tai pussukka ja koristele sitä kauniilla kirjontakuvioilla. Voit tulla mukaan omien materiaalien kanssa tai kirjoa langoistamme. Voit myös tulla vain keskustelemaan ja viettämään aikaa rennossa ja iloisessa monikielisessä tunnelmassa!

Satakielikuukautta eli monikielisyyskuukautta vietetään 21.2.-21.3. ja Langat yhteen -monikielinen käsityökerho on jaksossa mukana 27.2., 5.3., 12.3. & 19.3.

Pieni runonäyttely sisältää paikallisten tekstejä vuodenkierrosta. Näyttely on nähtävissä kirjaston aukioloaikoina 16.1.-4.2.2024.

Näyttelyn runot on valikoitu Teatteri Tuikkeen ja Suomalaisen barokkiorkesterin (FiBO) Luovan kirjoittamisen työpajoissa syntyneistä runoista sekä vuoden 2023 aikana lähetetyistä runoista.

Työpajat ovat olleet osa Teatteri Tuikkeen yleisötyön projektia sekä Suomalaisen barokkiorkesterin (FiBO) Koillisen versoja -aluehankkeen toimintaa. Runonäyttely nähdään kaikissa Koillisen kirjastoissa.

Näyttelyn ovat kuratoineet Juhana Salminen ja Marjaana Veikkanen.

Tervetuloa askartelemaan Jätkäsaaren kirjastoon kerran kuussa tiistaina klo 16.30-18! Järjestämme yhteistyössä MLL Ruoholahden-Jätkäsaaren paikallisyhdistyksen kanssa askartelutuokion lapsille ja nuorille. Askartelun lisäksi on tarjolla on myös pientä naposteltavaa. Iltasatutuokio klo 17.30.

Myllypuron ja Kontulan kirjastoissa päivystää digitalkkari joka arkipäivä!

Digitalkkarilta voit kysyä neuvoa pienessä tai isossa digi- ja tietotekniikkaongelmassa.
Voit tuoda mukanasi oman läppärisi tai kännykkäsi, jos tarvitset neuvoja niiden käyttöön.

Digitalkkarin vastaanotto toimii jonotusperiaatteella, eli hänelle ei voi varata aikaa etukäteen.

Myllypurossa palvelupiste on isossa lukusalissa, asiakastietokoneita vastapäätä.
Kontulassa digitalkkarin pöytä on lukusalin ovien ääressä.

Varaa oma lukuaika kirjaston asiakaspalvelusta tai puhelimitse 043 825 1308.

Voit lukea lukukoiralle omaa kirjaa tai valita kirjan kirjaston tarjoamista kirjoista. Myyrmäen lukukoira on shetlanninlammaskoira Noppa, joka on suorittanut Kennelliiton lukukoirakoulutuksen. Koiran ohjaaja on aina läsnä lukutilanteessa, mutta ei puutu lukemiseen.

Lukukoira on tarkoitettu kaikille yli 5-vuotiaille lukijoille, jotka kaipaavat varmuutta lukemiseen. Koira ei arvostele eikä huomauttele virheistä, hitaudesta tai epäröinnistä. Koiran läsnäolo rentouttaa ja innostaa lukemaan.

Noppa vierailee Myyrmäen kirjastossa joka toinen tiistai klo 15.30-16.30 välillä: 16.1., 30.1., 13.2., 27.2., 12.3., 26.3., 9.4., 23.4., 7.5. ja 21.5.

Onko sinulla ongelmia tietokoneen, kännykän, tabletin tai läppärin kanssa, tai haluatko oppia uutta sähköisistä palveluista? Varaa tunnin aika Enterin vertaisopastajalle! Haluatko oppia suomea ja tutustua uusiin ihmisiin? Tule Töölön kirjaston kielikahvilaan! Kielikahvilassa keskustellaan rennosti suomeksi.

Kokoonnumme 0. kerroksen Ryhmätilassa tiistaisin 16.1.-14.5. klo 14.00-15.30.

Suomen kielen taitosi ei tarvitse olla sujuvaa mutta toivomme, että osaat jo hiukan suomea ennestään. Tarjoamme kahvia ja teetä. Jännittää ei tarvitse – rohkeasti mukaan ja tuo kaverisikin!

Seikkailijat harrastusryhmässä hyppäämme Minecraftin villiin ja arvaamattomaan erämaailmaan tukenamme vain ja ainoastaan toisemme sekä otamme vastaan kaikki pelin tuovat haasteet yhdessä! Pelistä ei tarvitse olla aiempaa kokemusta, sillä paikalla on aina kaksi peliohjaajaa, jotka ovat aina valmiita auttamaan.

Aika: tiistaisin klo 14-15:30, 14.11.2023 alkaen. Koulujen lomaviikoilla ei järjestetä toimintaa.
