Tuokio sisältää loruja, lauluja ja yhteisiä leikkejä. Loruttelu edistää ja tukee lapsen kielellistä kehitystä ja vahvistaa lapsen ja aikuisen suhdetta. Lorujen ja leikkien tukena käytetään erilaisia rytmejä ja liikettä.

Tuokio kestää noin 30 minuuttia, jonka jälkeen tilaan saa jäädä vielä 30 minuutiksi leikkimään, juttelemaan tai lukemaan kirjaston hauskoja ensikirjoja kaikessa rauhassa muiden osallistujien kanssa.

Suositellaan 0–3-vuotiaille lapsille oman aikuisen seurassa. Ota vauvalle oma viltti tai pehmoinen alusta köllöttelyä varten.

Sellon kirjaston Jaminurkassa järjestetään yhteinen kielisoittimien (ukulelen, basson ja kitaran) huoltopaja. Huoltopajassa saat apua kielisoittimien perushuoltoon ja kielten vaihtoon. Mukaan tapahtumaan kannattaa ottaa mukaan oma soitin ja uudet kielet. Tarjoamme avun lisäksi puhdistusaineet ja otelautaöljyt, jotka viimeistelevät soittimesi lähes uudenveroiselle tasolle. Jos soittimesi tarvitsee suurempaa korjausta, suosittelemme viemään soittimen ammattilaiselle.

Kirjaston omat soittimet tarvitsevat myös huoltoa ja niihin pääsee harjoittelemaan kielten vaihtoa tapahtuman aikana. Ei ennakkoilmoittautumista ja osallistuminen on maksutonta.

Shakkiopetusta Lauttasaaressa

Kaikenikäiset shakista kiinnostuneet ovat tervetulleita oppimaan shakin alkeita Lauttasaaren kirjastoon. Maksuton opetus (suomeksi ja englanniksi) järjestetään monitoimitilassa keskiviikkoisin klo 17–20.

Opetus on vapaamuotoista:

- Mukaan voi tulla mihin aikaan tahansa.
- Opastamme shakin sääntöihin ja pelin eri osa-alueisiin (avaukset, taktiikka, strategia, loppupeli, kilpapelaaminen).
- Pelailemme ilman shakkikelloa.
- Neuvottelupeleissä etsimme yhdessä ääneen analysoimalla peliaseman vahvuudet, heikkoudet, mahdollisuudet ja uhat.
- Ratkomme taktisia pulmia ja loppupelitehtäviä.
- Annamme vinkkejä shakin itseopiskeluun.

Tapahtuman järjestää Lauttasaaren suomalainen shakkikerho.

Kamarikuoro Vivace on noin parinkymmenen hengen aikuiskuoro, jota johtaa säveltäjä Mia Makaroff. Vantaan Länsimäessä harjoitteleva kuoro keikkailee aktiivisesti eri kokoonpanoilla, ja kuoron ohjelmistoon kuuluu laaja valikoima kappaleita popklassikoista ja kansanlauluista klassisempaan ja moderniin kuoromusiikkiin. Kuoro on osallistunut myös useampiin kansainvälisiin kilpailuihin, joista viimeisimmässä he saavuttivat kultaa kahdessa eri sarjassa.

Tapiola Library's Warrior Cat Club for children and young people gathers in the library's youth space.

All fans of the Warriors Cat books are welcome to join. Expect casual get-togethers, crafting, quizzes, or whatever we come up with together!
