Haluaisitko harjoitella ääneen lukemista? Lukukoira on kärsivällinen kuuntelija, jonka kanssa lukemista ei tarvitse jännittää.

Lukukoira on paikalla ke 13.9., 11.10., 22.11. ja 20.12. Varattavat ajat ovat kunakin päivänä klo 17, klo 17.20 ja klo 17.40. Yksi lukuhetki kestää noin 15 min.

Lukuhetki pidetään monitoimitilassa, ja hetkeen osallistuvat lukija, koira ja koiran ohjaaja. Ohjaajan tehtävä on valvoa lukuhetkeä sivusta, mutta ei puuttua sen kulkuun. Voit valita luettavan kirjan kirjastosta tai tuoda lempikirjan mukanasi.

Lukukoiratoiminnan tavoitteena on lukuharrastuksen edistäminen ja onnistuneen lukukokemuksen luominen. Koirien on todettu lisäävän ihmisen mielihyvähormonien määrää sekä rentouttavan mieltä, minkä vuoksi niiden vaikutus myös lukemiseen liittyvissä haasteissa on myönteinen. Koiralle lukemisen on todettu auttavan lukihäiriöisiä lapsia sekä aikuisia. Koiran läsnäolo vähentää lukemiseen liittyvää kynnystä ja stressiä. Koira ei arvostele, takerru virheisiin tai keskeytä vaan lukijalla on rauha harjoitella lukemista.

Ihmisarvo on tämän valokuvanäyttelyn keskiössä: Chilen kansannousun tapahtumat vuonna 2019 kertovat karua kieltään ihmisarvon tilasta Santiagon kaduilla.

Luis Bustamante on 34-vuotias chileläinen valokuvaaja, joka asuu ja työskentelee Helsingissä. Hänen mielenkiintonsa kohdistuu erityisesti Latinalaisen Amerikan ihmisoikeuksiin, ja suurin osa hänen töistään käsittelee tätä aihetta.

Bustamante on dokumentoinut tapahtumia kaduilla eri maissa kolmentoista vuoden ajan. Mutta tärkein näistä on ollut Chile. Hänen tuorein työnsä todistaa unohtumattoman kansannousun tapahtumia vuosina 2019 ja 2021. Nämä kuvat näyttävät läheltä, kuinka chileläiset naiset ja miehet valtasivat Santiagon kadut vaatien ihmisarvoista yhteiskuntaa.

Lämpimästi tervetuloa näyttelyn avajaisiin Stoan parvigalleriaan tiistaina 28.11. klo 17-19.

34-åriga Luis Bustamante är en chilensk fotograf som bor och arbetar i Helsingfors. Han är i synnerhet intresserad av de mänskliga rättigheterna i Latinamerika och största delen av hans verk behandlar detta ämne.

Voimme parantaa omaa elämänlaatuamme, saada välineitä ihmissuhteiden toimivuudelle sekä saavuttaa onnistumisia tavoitteissamme esim. NLP-menetelmien avulla.

Tutustumalla erilaisiin näkökulmiin ja näkökulmien vaihdoksiin, voimme saada paljon apua omassa arkielämässämme.

Teemme myös rentoutus- ja mielikuvaharjoituksia, joiden avulla saamme kokemuksen siitä miten voi itse harjoitella ohjaamaan omaa elämäänsä paremmin haluamaansa suuntaan.

Helsingin kirjastoissa soi kamarimusiikki, kun Helsingin kaupunginorkesterin ja Helsingin kaupunginkirjaston yhteistyössä järjestämä Kaupunginorkesteri kirjastossasi -kiertue käynnistyy 6. marraskuuta. Kiertueen aikana kuullaan maksuttomat konsertit 12 Helsingin kirjastossa.
