50 rusinaa Tarton Mikalta (Lector Kustannus) on kirjailijan henkilökohtainen rakkaudentunnustus Virolle, virolaisille runoilijoille ja kulttuurille. Mika Keränen esittelee kirjassa runoja 50 runoilijalta, joista osa on hänen ystäviään ja osa runoilijoita, joiden tekstit ovat muuten puhutelleet Viron kirjallisuusmaastossa vaeltavaa suomentajaa.

Mika Keränen on Tartossa asuva viroksi, suomeksi ja omituisella itäsuomalaisella kotimurteellaan kirjoittava pitkän linjan sanaseppo. Hänet tunnetaan Virossa parhaiten salaseura Divarista, jonka seikkailuja on suomennettu Kaisu Lahikaisen toimesta kuusi osaa.

Keränen itse kertoo 50 rusinaa Tarton Mikalta -kirjaan suomentamistaan runoista: \"Jokainen kirjan runo ja runoilija on yhtä merkittävä minulle, en voi nostaa yhtään erikseen esille. Yhdessä ne muodostavat kavalkadin, joka on lohduttanut minua elon taipaleellani. Joku sanoi joskus, että taiteen merkitys on ennen kaikkea lohduttaa. Uskon niin.\"

Keskustakirjasto Oodin tilaisuudessa esiintyy Mika Keräsen lisäksi joukko hänen teoksensa 50 rusinaa Tarton Mikalta runoilijoita.

Käytössä on PlayStation 5 ja valikoima konsolipelejä. Pelituokioon tarvitsee oman, voimassa olevan kirjastokortin, jota vastaan ohjain lainataan. Pelaamaan pääsee enintään 4 pelaajaa samaan aikaan, peliaikaa on 30 minuuttia. Pelattavat pelit ovat ikärajoiltaan PEGI 3 ja PEGI 7. Vuoroa odotellessasi voit pelata vaikka lauta -tai korttipelejä.

Kallion kielikahvila on suomen kielen keskustelupiiri joka torstai klo 17-18 kirjaston ryhmätila Otsossa. Kirjaston osoite on Viides linja 11, 00530 Helsinki.

Suomen kielen taitosi ei tarvitse olla sujuvaa, mutta toivomme, että osaat jo hiukan ennestään. Vietämme rennosti aikaa yhdessä jutellen, joten jännittää ei tarvitse.

Tervetuloa Vantaan Jazzyhdistyksen lukupiiriin! Lukupiiri kokoontuu Tikkurilan kirjaston kokoushuone Voimalassa kerran kuussa torstaisin. Vuoden 2023 kokoontumiskerrat ovat 19.1., 16.2., 16.3., 13.4., 11.5., 21.9., 19.10., 16.11. ja 14.12.2023 klo 16.00-18.00.

Lukupiirissä keskustellaan lukupiiriläisten lukemasta kirjallisuudesta. Jokainen osallistuja voi kertoa kokemuksiaan lähiaikoina lukemistaan kirjoista.

Lukupiiri on kaikille avoin. Ilmoittaudu mukaan lähettämällä viestiä Marja Repolle: marja.kristiina.repo(at)gmail.com.

Mikä Vantaan Jazzyhdistys?

Vantaan Jazzyhdistys on reilut 20 vuotta toiminut kulttuuriyhdistys. Tärkein tehtävämme on järjestää kerran kuussa jazzkonsertti kulttuuritehdas Vernissassa. Lisäksi järjestämme lukupiirin sekä teatteri- ja kulttuuriretkiä säännöllisesti.

Tervetuloa mukaan Espoon kaupunginkirjaston ukulelen alkeiden jatkoryhmään. Soitamme tuttuja, lähinnä suomen-, englanninkielisiä lauluja. Välillä haastamme myös itseämme soittamalla melodioita ja opettamalla uusia sointuja ja komppeja. Ryhmässä rentous, välitön tunnelma ja yhteisöllisyys ovat tärkeitä asioita. Ohjaamossa järjestetään myös ryhmiä ja tapahtumia.

Itäkeskuksen Ohjaamossa voit saada koulutusneuvontaa, talous- ja velkaneuvontaa ja apua työnhakuun. Ohjaamo Helsinki on Helsingin kaupungin maksuton palvelu nuorille.

Tervetuloa lasten suomen kielen kerho Mehulaan!

Harjoittelemme suomen kieltä vapaamuotoisen keskustelun, leikkien ja kirjojen avulla. Tarjoamme mehua ja keksejä.

Kerho on tarkoitettu alakouluikäisille, joiden suomen kielen taito on alkeistasolla tai suomen kielen taitoa ei vielä ole ollenkaan.

Mehulaan ei tarvitse ilmoittautua etukäteen. Mukaan voi tulla koska tahansa.

Mehulan ohjaajina toimivat kirjaston työntekijät.

Suomen kielen kerho Mehula lapsille 26.10. alkaen torstaisin klo 14-15 Myllypuron kirjastossa.

Enter ry syyskauden opastukset ovat tänä vuonna 7.9.-14.12.2023 välisenä aikana.

Tule kysymään tietotekniikasta! Enter ry:n vapaaehtoiset vertaisopastajat tarjoavat senioreille maksutonta apua tietokoneiden, tablettien ja kännyköiden käytössä. Opastus on maksutonta.

Kaikille avoimet iltapäivien opastustuokiot pidetään Martinlaakson kirjastossa kahdesti kuussa torstaisin klo 13:00-15:00, ilman ajanvarausta.
