Haluaisitko harjoitella ääneen lukemista? Lukukoira on kärsivällinen kuuntelija, jonka kanssa lukemista ei tarvitse jännittää.

Varaa oma aikasi Itäkeskuksen kirjaston lastenosastolta tai numerosta (09) 3108 5890.

Yksi lukuhetki kestää noin 15 min. Lukuhetkeen osallistuvat lukija, koira ja koiran ohjaaja. Ohjaajan tehtävä on valvoa lukuhetkeä sivusta, mutta ei puuttua sen kulkuun.

Tule lukemaan, koira kuuntelee kaikilla kielillä!

Kennelliiton lukukoirat

Lukukoiratoiminnan tavoitteena on lukuharrastuksen edistäminen ja onnistuneen lukukokemuksen luominen. Koirien on todettu lisäävän ihmisen mielihyvähormonien määrää sekä rentouttavan mieltä, minkä vuoksi niiden vaikutus myös lukemiseen liittyvissä haasteissa on myönteinen. Koiralle lukemisen on todettu auttavan lukihäiriöisiä lapsia sekä aikuisia. Koiran läsnäolo vähentää lukemiseen liittyvää kynnystä ja stressiä. Koira ei arvostele, takerru virheisiin tai keskeytä vaan lukijalla on rauha harjoitella lukemista.

Reservera dig en tid på bibliotekets barnavdelning eller på telefon (09) 31085890.

Ett lästillfälle tar cirka 15 minuter. Läsaren, hunden och hundföraren deltar i lästillfället. Det är hundförarens jobb att övervaka lästillfället, men inte att störa det.

Kom och läs, hunden lyssnar på alla språk!

Kennelförbundets läshundar

Att få läsa för hunden är ett sätt att uppmuntra till läsning. En läshund har i uppgift att lyssna på läsaren och vara närvarande. En hund varken kritiserar eller anmärker om fel, läsningens långsamhet eller tvivel. Hundens närvaro hjälper läsaren att slappna av och lindrar stress.

Ongelmia tietokoneen tai tabletin kanssa? Nyt on mahdollisuus saada apua tietoteknisiin ongelmiin. Digitalkkari päivystää Lauttasaaren kirjastossa maanantaisin ja tiistaisin klo 12.30–18.

Digitalkkari opastaa tietokoneen, läppärin, tabletin tai älypuhelimen kanssa. Opastukseen voi tuoda oman laitteen mukaan. Digitalkkari on opiskelija, joka suorittaa kirjastossa opintoihinsa liittyvää harjoittelujaksoa.

Helsingin Uniyhdistys ry järjestää 31.10.2023 klo 16.30-17.30 Rikhardinkadun kirjaston kokoustila Turessa luennon \"Uni ja stressi\", luennoitsijana CBT-I -terapeutti Taina Liukkonen.

Toiminnallinen eli stressitekijästä johtuva unettomuus syntyy elämäntilanteessa tapahtuneesta kuormittavasta muutoksesta. Tämän kautta vaikuttava stressi heikentää unta, koska elimistö tuottaa mm. kortisolia, joka nostaa vireystasoa.

Luennolla on mukana myös Helsingin Uniyhdistyksen edustaja. Mukaan saat kesällä ilmestyneen Uniuutisten erkoisnumeron sekä syksyn Uniuutiset-lehden.

Ikäsuositus on suuntaa-antava. Klo 16 alkavalla satutunnilla on enemmän toimintaa ja vähemmän tekstiä kuin klo 17 alkavalla satutunnilla. Satu saattaa kuitenkin olla sama peräkkäisillä satutunneilla.

Tervetuloa puhumaan arkielämän suomea Kielikahvila Solmuun!

Kaikille avoin ja maksuton kielikahvila suomen kielen puhumiseen. Kielikahvilaan voi osallistua, jos haluaa oppia puhumaan suomea. Myös aloittelijat ovat tervetulleita.

Kielikahvilaan ei tarvitse ilmoittautua etukäteen. Mukaan voi tulla koska tahansa.

Kielikahvilassa opit puhumaan arkielämän suomen kieltä. Kielikahvilassa pääset puhumaan suomea suomalaisten kanssa.

Paikkana on Kannelmäen kirjaston Lukuliiketila tiistaisin klo 15.30-17.00.

Opetteletko juuri lukemaan tai kaipaatko varmuutta lukemiseen? Tule lukemaan lukukoiralle.

Varaa oma lukuaika kirjaston asiakaspalvelusta tai puhelimitse 043 825 1308.

Voit lukea lukukoiralle omaa kirjaa tai valita kirjan kirjaston tarjoamista kirjoista. Myyrmäen lukukoira on shetlanninlammaskoira Noppa, joka on suorittanut Kennelliiton lukukoirakoulutuksen. Koiran ohjaaja on aina läsnä lukutilanteessa, mutta ei puutu lukemiseen.

Lukukoira on tarkoitettu kaikille yli 5-vuotiaille lukijoille, jotka kaipaavat varmuutta lukemiseen. Koira ei arvostele eikä huomauttele virheistä, hitaudesta tai epäröinnistä. Koiran läsnäolo rentouttaa ja innostaa lukemaan.

Noppa vierailee Myyrmäen kirjastossa joka toinen tiistai klo 15.30-16.30 välillä: 5.9., 19.9., 3.10., 17.10., 31.10., 14.11., 28.11. ja 12.12.

Maiju Talvisto (FM, MuM) on pitkän linjan taidehallinnon ammattilainen, jonka esikoistietokirja Backstagella – artistituottajan käsikirja ilmestyi loppuvuodesta 2022. Maiju on tehnyt yli 15 vuoden uran festivaaliympäristössä artistituotannon ja esiintyvien taiteilijoiden parissa muun muassa Flow Festivalilla ja tätä ennen Pori Jazzissa. Maiju on luennoinut paljon työstään sekä tasa-arvosta ja yhdenvertaisuudesta musiikkialalla. Taide- ja kulttuurialan ammattiliito TAKU ry on palkinnut Maijun vuoden taide- ja kulttuurialan asiantuntijana vuonna 2019 ja Music x Media vuoden tapahtumatuottajana vuonna 2022.

Kirjailijavierailulla Maiju kertoo artistituottajan työstä, kiitosta keränneestä esikoiskirjastaan ja kirjailijapolustaan. Tilaisuudessa Backstagella-kirjaa on myös myytävänä 20 euron hintaan.
