Lämpimästi tervetuloa kuulemaan ja keskustelemaan Metsälinnunreitin kaavaehdotuksesta. Alueen asukkaille ja muille kiinnostuneille suunnattu tilaisuus järjestetään Sellon kirjaston päälavalla torstaina 7.12.2023 klo 17–19.

Tapahtumassa tutustutaan kaavaehdotuksen sisältöihin info-osuuden sekä interaktiivisen kartan eli Thinglinkin avulla. Lyhyt esitys kaavaehdotuksesta kuullaan tasatunnein, klo 17 ja klo 18.

Esitysten jälkeen osallistujilla on mahdollisuus keskustella kaavan valmistelijoiden kanssa ehdotuksesta tai paneutua siihen itsenäisesti klikkailtavan kaavakartan avulla. Voit siis saapua paikalle joko klo 17 tai klo 18 alkavaan info-osuuteen.

Tapahtuma on avoin kaikille kiinnostuneille. Ei ennakkoilmoittautumista, nähdään Sellon kirjastossa!

Mistä on kyse?

Metsälinnunreitin kaava-alue (numero 113001) sijaitsee Lintuvaarassa, Leppävaaran suuralueella. HOASin omistaman tontin järjestelyitä kehitetään vastaamaan paremmin alueen asuntokysyntään. Tontilla sijaitsevat, 70-luvun lopulla rakennetut vanhat opiskelija-asunnot on tarkoitus purkaa.

Kaava-alueeseen kuuluvan Lintumetsän päiväkodin tonttia kasvatetaan nykyisestä niin, että tontille voidaan rakentaa tiloja enintään kahdeksanryhmäiselle päiväkodille. Tarkoituksena on varautua Lintuvaaran tuleviin varhaiskasvatustarpeisiin. Puiston länsireunan yksityisomisteinen kaistale liitetään viereiseen pientalokortteliin ja osoitetaan istutettavaksi alueen osaksi.

Metsälinnunreitin ja Lintumetsäntien liikenneturvallisuutta sekä saattoliikenteen järjestelyitä on kaavan myötä mahdollista kehittää. Pohjois-eteläsuuntainen jalankulun ja pyöräilyn reitti Kirkkalanpolku säilytetään nykyisellään. Kaava-alueella kulkee myös liito-oravan reitti, jonka turvaaminen parantaa samalla alueen ekologisia verkostoja.

Haluaisitko harjoitella ääneen lukemista? Lukukoira on kärsivällinen kuuntelija, jonka kanssa lukemista ei tarvitse jännittää.

Lukukoira on paikalla ke 13.9., 11.10., 22.11. ja 20.12. Varattavat ajat ovat kunakin päivänä klo 17, klo 17.20 ja klo 17.40. Yksi lukuhetki kestää noin 15 min.

Lukuhetki pidetään monitoimitilassa, ja hetkeen osallistuvat lukija, koira ja koiran ohjaaja. Ohjaajan tehtävä on valvoa lukuhetkeä sivusta, mutta ei puuttua sen kulkuun. Voit valita luettavan kirjan kirjastosta tai tuoda lempikirjan mukanasi.

Lukukoiratoiminnan tavoitteena on lukuharrastuksen edistäminen ja onnistuneen lukukokemuksen luominen. Koirien on todettu lisäävän ihmisen mielihyvähormonien määrää sekä rentouttavan mieltä, minkä vuoksi niiden vaikutus myös lukemiseen liittyvissä haasteissa on myönteinen. Koiralle lukemisen on todettu auttavan lukihäiriöisiä lapsia sekä aikuisia. Koiran läsnäolo vähentää lukemiseen liittyvää kynnystä ja stressiä. Koira ei arvostele, takerru virheisiin tai keskeytä vaan lukijalla on rauha harjoitella lukemista.

Ihmisarvo on tämän valokuvanäyttelyn keskiössä: Chilen kansannousun tapahtumat vuonna 2019 kertovat karua kieltään ihmisarvon tilasta Santiagon kaduilla.

Luis Bustamante on 34-vuotias chileläinen valokuvaaja, joka asuu ja työskentelee Helsingissä. Hänen mielenkiintonsa kohdistuu erityisesti Latinalaisen Amerikan ihmisoikeuksiin, ja suurin osa hänen töistään käsittelee tätä aihetta.

Bustamante on dokumentoinut tapahtumia kaduilla eri maissa kolmentoista vuoden ajan. Mutta tärkein näistä on ollut Chile. Hänen tuorein työnsä todistaa unohtumattoman kansannousun tapahtumia vuosina 2019 ja 2021. Nämä kuvat näyttävät läheltä, kuinka chileläiset naiset ja miehet valtasivat Santiagon kadut vaatien ihmisarvoista yhteiskuntaa.
