Haluaisitko harjoitella ääneen lukemista? Lukukoira on kärsivällinen kuuntelija, jonka kanssa lukemista ei tarvitse jännittää.

Varaa oma aikasi Itäkeskuksen kirjaston lastenosastolta tai numerosta (09) 3108 5890.

Yksi lukuhetki kestää noin 15 min. Lukuhetkeen osallistuvat lukija, koira ja koiran ohjaaja. Ohjaajan tehtävä on valvoa lukuhetkeä sivusta, mutta ei puuttua sen kulkuun.

Kennelliiton lukukoirat

Lukukoiratoiminnan tavoitteena on lukuharrastuksen edistäminen ja onnistuneen lukukokemuksen luominen. Koirien on todettu lisäävän ihmisen mielihyvähormonien määrää sekä rentouttavan mieltä, minkä vuoksi niiden vaikutus myös lukemiseen liittyvissä haasteissa on myönteinen. Koiralle lukemisen on todettu auttavan lukihäiriöisiä lapsia sekä aikuisia. Koiran läsnäolo vähentää lukemiseen liittyvää kynnystä ja stressiä. Koira ei arvostele, takerru virheisiin tai keskeytä vaan lukijalla on rauha harjoitella lukemista.

Millainen on metsä pikkuihmisen silmin? Matkalaukkuun mahtuvassa runoesityksessä hypätään metsätunnelmiin. Tervehditään karhunmörrikkää, pyöritään sammalpallona ja kuunnellaan tähtien tuiketta!

Metsärunoja taaperoille sopii nimensä mukaisesti perheen pikkuväelle, mutta myös isommat sisarukset mahtuvat mukaan hyörimään. Osallistava runohetki on kestoltaan noin 30 minuuttia.

Avomielin-verkko koostuu pääkaupunkiseudulla toimivista mielenterveysyhdistyksistä. Esittelemme Oodissa yhdistysten toimintaa ja toivotamme kaikki lämpimästi tervetulleeksi mukaan!

Avomielin on pääkaupunkiseudulla toimivien mielenterveysyhdistysten yhteistyötä. Jokaisella yhdistyksellä on yksi tai useampi matalan kynnyksen kohtaamispaikka ja ohjelmassa on monenlaista kaikille avointa mielenterveyttä tukevaa toimintaa ja vertaistukea.

Mukana yhteistyössä ovat Espoon mielenterveysyhdistys EMY ry, Tukiyhdistys Karvinen ry, Tukiyhdistys Majakka ry, Vantaan mielenterveysyhdistys Hyvät Tuulet ry, Mielenterveysyhdistys HELMI ry, Kirkkonummenseudun mielenterveysyhdistys KISU ry ja Psykosociala föreningen Sympati rf. ja Taiteen Sulattamo ry.

Yhteistyössä järjestämme koulutusta ja virkistystä yhdistysten luottamushenkilöille ja työntekijöille. Yhdistystemme toimintaan osallistujille järjestämme leikkimielisiä turnauksia muun muassa keilauksessa, biljardissa, onginnassa ja mölkyssä. Teemme yhteisiä retkiä sekä järjestämme yhteisiä tapahtumia ja hauskoja iltamia. Yhteinen leirikin on suunnitteilla. Discord-alustalla ylläpidämme yhdessä virtuaalista kohtaamispaikkaa, Avomielin-verkkoa.

Raine Raitio on helsinkiläinen tietokirjailija, runoilija ja tietoa keräilevä bibliofiili, jonka tuotantoon kuuluu yli kolmekymmentä teosta ja satoja lehtiartikkeleita.
