Kauhean ihana Kauhua kakaroille -tapahtuma tuo tänäkin vuonna Stoan aukiolle kaikki jännittävimmät jutut ja hirveimmät hienoudet!

Marraskuinen ilta ei ole koskaan ollut oudompi, kun aukion valloittavat ihmeelliset valot ja äänettömät tanssijat. Taikajuomapadat höyryävät juuri sinua varten. Tule siis mukaan, ja tuo kaikenikäiset turvajoukkosi myös. Pimeys on taikaa täynnä, ja pelätäkin saa – turvallisessa valossa.

🏵️💀🏵️ Tervetuloa Día de Muertos - Perhepäivään! Kyseessä on koko perheen juhlapäivä, jossa on paljon toimintaa kaiken ikäisille lapsille.

Kuolleiden päivä saapuu Oodiin hauskan ohjelman kera! Voitte perehtyä tähän meksikolaiseen ja keskiamerikkalaiseen perinteeseen yhdessä koko perheen kanssa. Kuolleiden päivä on maailmanlaajuisesti tunnettu juhla, jonka opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö on tunnustanut vuonna 2023 aineettomana kulttuuriperintönä. Se on ollut osana Unescon aineetonta maailmanperintöä vuodesta 2003 lähtien.

Tämän esi-isien juhlan aikana, jota vietetään tyypillisesti 1.–2. marraskuuta, perheet pystyttivät upeita alttareita kuolleiden läheistensä muistoksi. Tämä on erityinen tapa kunnioittaa heitä perheen ja ystävien ympäröimänä.

Welcome to Día de Muertos - Family Day! A day for the whole family to celebrate with lots of activities for children of all ages.

In its second edition, the Day of the Dead comes to Oodi with a fun program to explore this Mexican and Central-American tradition as a family. A globally renowned celebration, recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland in 2023 as Intangible Cultural Heritage and part of UNESCO's intangible world heritage since 2003.

During this ancestral festivity, typically celebrated between November 1st and 2nd, families set up spectacular Altars in memory of their loved ones, who have passed away. It’s a special day to honor them, while surrounded by family and friends.

You’ll have the opportunity to see a real Altar, part of ‘Día de Muertos – Exhibition', on display at Kuutio Room from 28.10 to 5.11.

Tervetuloa viettämään perjantaita yhteisen elokuvahetken merkeissä! Sellon kirjaston Jaminurkassa järjestetään joka perjantai klo 18:00 avoin elokuvanäytös lapsille, perheille ja lapsenmielisille. Elokuvat valitaan yhdessä lasten toiveista kirjastossa.

Maunula-talon nuorisotalo muuttuu elokuvasaliksi!

Baby Kino järjestetään nuorisotalon olohuoneessa 2.krs:

Baby Kino -näytös on tarkoitettu vanhemmille/hoitajille ja vauvoille.

Elokuvaesitykset ovat vauvaystävällisiä, mutta elokuvat on valittu aikuiseen makuun sopiviksi.

Olohuoneessa on sohvia, nojatuoleja ja lattialla iso peitoin päällystetty matto. Lisäksi oma alusta toisi mukavuutta vauvalle. Voit myös ottaa mukaan kantokassin/turvaistuimen, jossa vauvasi voi nukkua leffan aikana.

LUONTOKYLPY PERUTTU SAIRASTUMISEN VUOKSI!



Tervetuloa vauvojen omalle retkelle lähiluontoon!

Luontokylvyssä vauva saa tutustua luontoon moniaistisesti leikkien ja tutkien. Vauvantahtisesti aistitaan ympäröivää luontoa, tutustutaan luonnosta löytyviin elementteihin ja leikitään vuorovaikutuksellisia leikkejä vauvan kassa. Toimintaan ovat tervetulleita kaikenlaiset perheet ja vauvan lähipiiri! Tuokion aikana saadaan luonnon hyvinvointivaikutuksia kaikille osallistujille.

Kokoonnume Malmitalon aulassa kirjaston edessä, josta siirrymme kauniiseen lähipuistoon. Kehnolla säällä luontokylvemme kirjaston rauhallisessa monitoimitilassa. Tuokioon kannattaa varata vaatteet, joiden pieni likaantuminen ei haittaa. Luontokylvyt sopivat noin 4-18 kuukauden ikäisille oman aikuisen/aikuisten seurassa.

kello 17.45–18.30 Sellon kirjaston Jaminurkassa

Tervetuloa mukaan Espoon kaupunginkirjaston tarjoamaan 7–12-vuotiaiden ukuleleryhmään. Tunneilla on tarkoitus tutustua musiikkiin monipuolisesti. Harjoittelemme sointujen, sekä melodian soittamista kappaleiden avulla. Lisäksi teemme musiikin hahmottamista ja ryhmäytymistä tukevia harjoituksia leikkimällä ja piirtämällä. Opetus on oppilaslähtöistä. Kirjastolla on runsaasti ukuleleja, joita voi lainata tunnin ajaksi.

Varje torsdag kl. 10-12 kan man samlas med andra småbarnsfamiljer på bibliotekets barnavdelning för att hänga och umgås. Man kan komma när det passar en själv och stanna den tid som man har möjlighet för. Bebisar och andra barn är välkomna med!

Biblioteket bjuder på en plats att vara på, leksaker och bebisvänliga pekböcker. Du kan också be oss om tips på läsning för småbarn, få mer information om bibliotekets sagodiplom eller om hur du kan låna tygblöjor från bibban.
