Drawing Time is about having fun while drawing. Together we will learn some drawing tricks and magic. The drawing sessions are hosted by Vaidas, a long time illustrator and concept artist for film and games. He comes with lived experience and some fun stories from inside the industry. With strong passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge Vaidas wishes to get you interested in expressing yourself with the simple tools like pens and paper. The most important thing is the interaction between the adult and the child. Participants are free to take part in any way that is most comfortable to them, even if it means just watching and listening.
The group is open to everybody regardless of their musical background or language skills. The length of the session is approximately 30 minutes. The recommended age of the children is from 3 to 18 months.
Please note that Music for babies will not be organized on 5th of October and on 26th of October.

In the group, we discuss in Finnish and practice spoken language together. Topics for discussion can be, for example, news, job search or different cultures. We decide on the topics togerher.
The group will meet in Vuosaari Library's meeting room on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Welcome aboard!

Are you a young person living with multiple languages and cultures? Do you want to learn how to write slam poetry, a rap song or social media update?
Do you want to do some writing in good company? Welcome to the Wordshop writers’ workshops!
You can write in any language you want. It's not the grammar that counts. It's what you want to say. The workshops are conducted in Finnish and English.
You can participate in the workshops every time or whenever it suits you.
Free admission, no pre-registration required.
