Tarvitsetko apua ompelukoneen tai saumurin käyttöön? Tervetuloa henkilökohtaiseen opastukseen! Opastusta on tarjolla keskiviikkoisin klo 10-11 ja klo 11-12.

Opastajana toimii Korson Marttojen Ritva Etelämäki.

Varaa tunnin opastusaika kirjaston infotiskiltä tai soittamalla Lumon kirjastoon, puh. 043 825 1305.

Lumon kirjaston pajassa on kaksi ompelukonetta sekä yksi saumuri. Ompelukoneet ovat malliltaan Husqvarna Viking Emerald 116, saumuri taas Bernina L450.

Mitä tapahtuu, kun kolme uuden polven kiinnostavimpien lauluntekijöiden joukkoon kuuluvaa artistia yhdistää voimansa ja kokoaa konsertillisen materiaalia yhteisen otsikon alle? Iris Kukka, Niilo Rantala & Emilia Tuovila ovat koonneet ohjelmistoistaan lauluja, jotka kuvaavat ihmiselämään niin kipeän vääjäämättömästi kuuluvaa ahdistusta, epävarmuutta ja jännitteisyyttä. Konsertin ensimmäinen puolisko koostuu niistä. Optimistisesti kolmikko kuitenkin luottaa siihen, että tunnelin päässä kajastaa valoa ja talvea seuraa kevät. Siksi kokonaisuus huipentuu lauluihin, joita yhdistää vahva viesti toivosta ja selviytymisestä, eteenpäin kulkemisesta ja hyvän voittamisesta. Tule kuulemaan, miten tunteet taipuvat tarinoiksi ja kokemaan, kuinka laulut välittävät valoa.

Iris Kukka on artisti, jonka musiikki on sähköistä indie-elektro-poppia - runollisen eteeristä ja juurevaa, savuista ja hennonheleää soundia.

Niilo Rantala on lauluntekijä, jonka konserteissa kuultava ohjelmisto vaihtelee sävyiltään laulelmasta ja teatterimusiikista viihdemusiikin klassikoihin ja taiderock-tunnelmointiin.

Emilia Tuovila ja on lauluntekijä, jonka alt-folk kappaleissa yhdistyy rosoisuus ja kuulaus.

Luetaan yhdessä -verkosto tarjoaa maksutonta suomen kielen opetusta maahanmuuttajille. Ryhmä kokoontuu taas paikan päällä Oodissa tiistaisin klo 17.30-19.30.

Kaikki opettajat ovat vapaaehtoisia ja ryhmä pyrkii tukemaan eritasoisten oppijien kielen kehittymistä monipuolisesti. Olemme osa valtakunnallista verkostoa, joka tukee erityisesti maahanmuuttajanaisten kielen oppimista ja kotoutumista. Myös miehet ovat tervetulleita Oodin ryhmään.

Tapaamisessa käsiteltävän teoksen saat Malmin kirjastosta noin kuukautta ennen seuraavaa kertaa. Voit myös varata kirjan itse Helmet-verkkokirjastosta sinulle sopivaan noutokirjastoon.
