Perjantaisin klo 10-11 Akseli-salissa ( EI 9.2.)

Jooga on kokonaisvaltainen käsitys ihmisen hyvinvoinnista ja tarjoaa paljon helppoja harjoituksia terveyden ja tasapainon ylläpitämiseen ja kehittämiseen.

Seniorijoogaa ohjaa kokenut Markku Sosimäki eli Dada Rasatmakananda. Hän on toiminut jooganopettajana ympäri maailman jo 40 vuoden ajan.

Tarvitset vain tavalliset mukavat vaatteet ja alustan lattialla olemista varten. Alustaksi kelpaa joogamatto, makuualusta tai mikä tahansa viltti.

Pienten aamut 1-3-vuotiaille


Tervetuloa touhuamaan yhdessä kirjastoon! Pienten aamut on 1-3-vuotiaille ja heidän vanhemmilleen suunnattu tapahtumasarja, jossa puuhataan jotain mukavaa yhdessä. Keväällä järjestetään neljä aamua, joissa kokeillaan erilaisia touhuja taaperoiden kanssa. Tuokion kesto noin 20-30min.

Tiiroja – valokuvanäyttelyn kuvat ovat Vuosaaren ja lähisaarien tiiroista noin 15 vuoden ajalta. Kuvissa tiirat lentävät, parittelevat, kalastavat, hoitavat poikasiaan jne.

Kuvissa esitetään tiirojen elämänvaiheita ja ulkonäköä, osassa keskitytään lentämiseen.

Näyttely käsittelee tiirojen lisäksi suhtautumistamme tiiroihin, eläimiin ja luontoon, kokonaisuuden taustalla on paljon kysymyksiä. Mikä on tiiroille tärkeää? Miten tiiroja tulisi valokuvata? Minkälainen suhtautuminen on oikeudenmukaista tiiroja kohtaan? Mikä on tiedon ja kokemuksen osuus, tarvitsevatko tiirat ylipäätään ihmisaivojen tuottamaa tietoa tai tunnetta? Onko tiira tiira vai jotain muuta?

Antti Koli on vuosaarelainen valokuvaaja ja tietokirjailija, tämä on noin kolmaskymmenes yksityisnäyttely. Vesi ja eläimet ovat olleet tärkeimmät aiheet, tiirakuvissa ne yhdistyvät.

Tervetuloa lukemaan ja keskustelemaan tietokirjoista! Tietokirjalukupiiri kokoontuu kerran kuussa torstaisin Itäkeskuksen kirjaston kokoushuone Kanervassa (pohjakerros).

Keväällä 2024 luetaan teoksia, jotka liikkuvat kaunokirjallisuuden, tietokirjallisuuden ja esseiden välimaastossa.

Tule soittelemaan ja laulamaan helppoja ja tuttuja lauluja Tikkurilan kirjaston musiikkiosaston soittohuoneeseen torstai-iltaisin.

Soitetaan ensin alkuperäisartistien tulkintojen mukana, minkä jälkeen porukka itse päättää mihin suuntaan edetään ja millaisia lauluja soitetaan. Apuvälineinä ovat soittohuoneen äänen- ja kuvantoistolaitteet. Sointumerkinnät ja rajallinen määrä nuotteja ovat käytettävissä. Kaikenlaiset soittimet ovat tervetulleita.
