Vantaan kaupunginkirjastossa etsitään pehmopresidenttiä lapsille ja perheille suunnatun toiminnan keulakuvaksi. Vaalit järjestetään kaikissa Vantaan kirjastoissa (pl. Martinlaakso) 22.1.-3.2.2024. Myös molemmissa kirjastoautoissa voi äänestää. Ehdolla on viisi pehmolelua ja valitun pehmopresidentin virkakausi kestää vuoden 2024 loppuun.

Ehdolle asettuivat tiukan esikarsinnan jälkeen Aavikkokettu, Papukaija, Kameleontti, Rotta ja Siili. Pehmopresidentinvaalien taustalla on idea samaan aikaan pidettävien varsinaisten presidentinvaalien hyödyntämisestä niin, että vaalien kautta välitetään aina ajankohtaista demokratiakasvatusta lapsille ja vieläpä hauskalla tavalla. Samalla tavoitetaan niin perheitä kuin koululuokkia käyttämään kirjastoa.

Vaalien ensisijaisena kohderyhmänä toimivat lapsiperheet, varhaiskasvatusikäiset lapset sekä alakoululaiset. Ehdokkaille onkin tämä mielessä pitäen luotu tunnetaitojen opetteluun liittyvät vaalilauseet ja niiden nimissä kootaan äänestyspaikkojen yhteyteen kirjanäyttelyitä esimerkiksi kaveritaidoista ja tunnekasvatuksesta. Kuvakirjoista koostuvia kirjavinkkilistoja eri aiheista voi viedä myös mukanaan kotiin. Ketään ei myöskään käännytetä pois äänestyspaikalta, vaan yhtä lailla aikuinen voi äänestää omaa suosikkiaan kirjaston pehmopresidentiksi.

Vaalien voittaja julkaistaan helmikuussa ja tämä tulee näkymään Vantaan kaupunginkirjaston somessa ja kirjastoissa koko vuoden 2024 ajan. Työtehtäviä pehmopresidentille tuleekin riittämään, sillä luvassa on ainakin kesätöitä, TET-harjoittelupäivä, muiden ansioituneiden pehmojen kestitsemistä pehmopresidentin vastaanotolla sekä edustamista kirjaston tapahtumissa.

Pehmopresidenttiä voit äänestää omassa lähikirjastossasi sen aukioloaikojen mukaan. Äänestää voit sekä suomen että ruotsin kielellä.

Vanda stadsbibliotek söker en mjukispresident som galjonsfigur för verksamheten som riktar sig till barn och familjer. Valet arrangeras i alla bibliotek i Vanda (förutom Mårtensdal) 22.1– 3.2.2024. Det går att rösta också i de båda bokbussarna. Fem mjukisdjur är nominerade och mandatperioden för den valda mjukispresidenten varar till slutet av år 2024.

Efter en tuff förhandsgallring kandiderar Ökenräven, Papegojan, Kameleonten, Råttan och Igelkotten. Valet av en mjukispresident baserar sig på idéen att använda det egentliga presidentvalet som hålls samtidigt till en alltid aktuell demokratifostran för barn och dessutom göra det på ett roligt sätt. Samtidigt försöker man få både familjer och skolklasser att använda sig av biblioteket.

Den huvudsakliga målgruppen för valet är barnfamiljer, barn i åldern för småbarnspedagogik samt lågstadieelever. Med tanke på detta har kandidaterna fått valslogans som hänför sig till emotionella färdigheter och på röstningsställena kommer det att finnas bokutställningar som passar mjukiskandidaternas personlighet och slogans, till exempel om kompisfärdigheter och känslofostran. Man kan också ta med sig boklistor hem med tips på bilderböcker om olika ämnen. Ingen avvisas från röstningsstället, utan en vuxen kan likaså rösta på sin favorit till mjukispresident för biblioteket.

Vinnaren i valet offentliggörs i februari och detta kommer att synas i Vanda stadsbiblioteks sociala medier och bibliotek under hela 2024. Mjukispresidenten kommer att ha gott om arbetsuppgifter, eftersom den åtminstone utlovas sommarjobb, en PRAO-dag, traktering av andra mjukisar på mjukispresidentens mottagning, samt representation vid bibliotekets evenemang.

Du kan rösta på mjukispresidenten i ditt eget närbibliotek enligt öppettiderna. Du kan rösta både på finska och svenska. Välkommen med för att välja Vanda stadsbiblioteks första mjukispresident!

Työpari Kantola–Dunder-Berg tutkii monitaiteellisessa teoksessa Hetkiä – Moments minkälaista taidetta toisen taiteilijan luova työ synnyttää toisessa; minkälaista jälkeä Kantolan improvisoitu liike tuottaa Dunder-Bergin käden ja pastelliliidun tai siveltimen kautta paperille. Entä millaista liikettä Dunder-Bergin maalaamisen jälki ja äänet synnyttävät Kantolan kehossa? Kantola–Dunder-Bergin jokainen taiteellinen työ on uniikki monitaiteellinen hetki, jossa syntyy samanaikaisesti liikkeellinen esitys sekä eri välineillä paperille tehtyjä kuvataideteoksia. Teoksen toisessa osassa katsojilla on halutessaan mahdollisuus osallistua esitykseen.
