The map includes a QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone, which will open a link where the audiopiece can be either streamed or downloaded. The listener can then hear the track through headphones and follow the directions of the audio and the map.

For potential listeners who require the loan of headphones and/or mp3 player to access the piece, there will be a small number available on request at the info desk.

Eero Blomberg ja Risto Aakko kertovat Duo Heinäpään taustasta:

\"Duo Heinäpäitten musiikilliset juuret ulottuvat Oulun Heinäpään musiikkiluokkiin, ja vuoteen 1975, jolloin Eeron ja Riston tiet kohtasivat. Koulun penkkiä kulutettiin kymmenen vuotta yhdessä, jonka aikana ajauduttiin soittotunneille Sibelius-Akatemian nuoriso-osastolle. Lukion päätyttyä 1985 alkoivat molemmilla opinnot Akatemian solistisella osastolla. Sittemmin elämä kuljetti erilleen. Risto meni töihin Suomen Kansallisoopperan orkesteriin, ja Eero Oulun kaupunginorkesteriin. Muutaman välivuoden jälkeen olemme ryhtyneet jälleen musisoimaan. Kesällä 2023 perustetun Duon Heinäpäät tarkoituksena on karheaa pohjoisen karismaa hyödyntäen esittää maanläheisiä tulkintoja itseään, ja toivottavasti myös muita, kiehtovista tunnetuista sekä vähemmän tunnetuista sävelmistä.\"

FM Veikko Mäkelä kertoo mikä on Prekessio-ilmiö ja miten se vaikuttaa tähtitaivaaseen eri aikoina.

Maapallon akseli tekee hidasta 26 000 vuoden jaksossa tapahtuvaa hyrräliikettä, jota kutsutaan prekessioksi. Se muuttaa tuhansien vuosien kuluessa paitsi pohjoista napatähteämme, tasauspisteiden paikkaa myös tähtitaivaan ilmettä eri vuoden aikoina. Mistä prekessio johtuu ja millaiselta Suomen tähtitaivas on näyttänyt tuhansia vuosia sitten?

Veikko Mäkelä on monitoimija Tähtitieteellinen yhdistys Ursassa ja on pitänyt mm. tähtitaivaskursseja ja toimittaa yhdistyksen julkaisemaa Tähdet-vuosikirjaa. Hänellä FM-tutkinto tähtitieteestä, mutta ammatikseen hän toimii projektitoiminnan asiantuntijana Helsingin yliopistossa.

Tilaisuuden järjestää Suomen arkeoastronominen seura.

Elatu Nessa & Sini Silveri

Elatu Nessa on yhdistelmä kotikutoisia looppeja, psykedeelisia kitaroita, linnunlaulua, ihmislaulua, unelmointia, köyhää dataa ja päiväunia. Se on ääniraita aavikkounelmille, lumisille kentille ja mielikuvituksen luomille tietokoneille - rakkaudellinen pysähdys omaan mieleen ja sieltä ulos.
Linnunlaulua likaisessa pensaassa.
Elatu Nessa on Rusto Myllylahden sooloprojekti. Vuodesta 2015 alkaen se on esiintynyt maan alla ja lavan päällä Suomessa ja eri puolilla Eurooppaa.

Sini Silveri on palkittu, laajasti esiintynyt runoilija. Hän on esittänyt tekstejään Pillu1000, Internet, Apurit sekä Suut - yhtyeissä. Käännösten, kasettien ja vihkojen lisäksi häneltä on julkaistu kovakantinen runoteos nimeltään Titaanidisko. (Poesia 2020) Syksyllä 2023 ilmestyy teos Haisee kaikkia tuoksuja (Khaos Publishing)

Myllylahti ja Silveri ovat tehneet useita yhteisiä kiertueita ja esiintymisiä Mustarindasta Maagilliseen teatteriin. Yhdessä he ovat tehneet elokuvaa, tanssia ja noisea. Yhdistelmässä kuuluu molempien tekijöiden suhde Tornionjokeen jonkinlaisena omalakisena joki-bluesina.

Olli Aarni

Olli Aarni on kokeellisen musiikin ja äänitaiteen tekijä, joka on vastikään seilannut elektronisen äänen aavoilta soilta kohti akustisen kantelemusiikin ryteikköjä. Pasilan kirjaston Häiriöklubilla hän esittää improvisoitua musiikkia, joka on polveutunut Ultraäänen elokuussa 2023 julkaisemalta, kokonaan kantelemusiikkiin keskittyvältä albumilta Tuokioita. Aarnin musiikissa soiva kudelma keikkuu jatkuvasti järjestyksen ja sekamelskan, minimalismin ja maksimalismin välillä, ja luonnonomainen kaoottisuus, monimutkaisuus ja sattumanvaraisuus ovat alati läsnä kesäsateen herkkyydellä. Olli Aarnin tuotantoa on julkaistu äänitteinä neljässä maanosassa, ja hän on lisäksi tehnyt äänirunoutta, interaktiivisia internetissä sijaitsevia ääniteoksia, installaatioita sekä radioteoksia.

Neulontaklinikat Oodissa tiistaisin ja keskiviikkoisin 6.9. alkaen

Tervetuloa neulomaan tai virkkaamaan yhdessä Kädentaitomartat ry:n ohjaajien kanssa! Voit opetella neulomisen alkeita tai taidokkaan neuleen yksityiskohtia. Opit ehkä uusia tapoja tehdä sukan kantapään, lapasen peukalon tai resorin ja voit kysyä neuvoa neuleohjeen pulmiin tai ohjeiden sovittamiseen omille mitoille. Martat opettavat myös parsimista, voit ottaa mukaan reikiintyneet villasukkasi tai muun korjausta kaipaavan villa-asusteen.

Neulontaklinikka kokoontuu kirjaston toisessa kerroksessa Kuutio-tilan edustalla parillisten viikkojen keskiviikkoina klo 14-16, ja parittomien viikkojen tiistaina klo 17.30-19.30.

Muukka vierailee viidessä Espoon kirjastossa, alkaen Lippulaivasta ja jatkuen Ison Omenan, Tapiolan, Sellon ja Entressen kirjastoihin.

Esitys on suunnattu koko lukevalle kansalle sekä graafisen muotoilijan, kirjagraafikon työstä kiinnostuneille. Suomenkielisen esityksen kesto on n. 1 tunti.

03.–28.10.2023 Lippulaivan kirjastossa on nähtävillä myös valikoitu otos Muukan piirroksia ja maalauksia.

Muukka on palkittu espoolainen graafinen muotoilija. Hän sai Vuoden Graafikko -arvonimen vuonna 2004.

Luetaan yhdessä - ryhmä

Luetaan yhdessä -verkosto tarjoaa maksutonta suomen kielen opetusta maahanmuuttajille. Ryhmä kokoontuu taas paikan päällä Oodissa tiistaisin klo 17.30-19.30.

Kaikki opettajat ovat vapaaehtoisia ja ryhmä pyrkii tukemaan eritasoisten oppijien kielen kehittymistä monipuolisesti. Olemme osa valtakunnallista verkostoa, joka tukee erityisesti maahanmuuttajanaisten kielen oppimista ja kotoutumista. Myös miehet ovat tervetulleita Oodin ryhmään.

Finnish native speakers help you practice communicating in Finnish. We read texts and discuss different topics every time. It's not necessary to register in advance, you can just show up.
