Enter ry opastaa tietotekniikkapulmissa keskiviikkoisin klo 10-12. Ajan voi varata kirjastosta tai soittamalla 09 3108 5076. Opastusta on syksyllä tarjolla 6.9.–29.11.

Tunnin opastukseen voi saapua oman laitteen kanssa, mutta myös kirjaston tabletin tai tietokoneen lainaus on mahdollinen. Opastukset ovat maksuttomia ja toimivat vertaistukiperiaatteella. Opastajien taustat tietoteknisissä asioissa ovat monenlaisia ja opastajat tekevät työtä vapaaehtoisesti harrastepohjalta, omien taitojensa mukaan. Kaikenlaiset kysymykset ja ongelmat ovat tärkeitä ja relevantteja ja lähes aina niihin löytyy jonkinlainen ratkaisu.

Esitys järjestetään Tikkurilan kirjaston lastenosaston Laguuni -tilassa 11.10. klo 10.30!

Supertähti-klovni tippuu tähtitaivaalta tuntemattomaan metsään ja löytää
puurivistöstä laulavan Puun. Kaksikko lähtee etsimään Puun puuttuvaa etunimeä katsojien ja
metsästä löytyvien runojen avulla. Matkan varrella kaksikko kohtaa metsän ihmeitä ja
Tähdelle aiemmin tuntemattomia kirjaimia ja tavuja. Löytääkö Puu nimensä ja oppiiko Supertähti lukemaan?

SUPERTÄHTI JA KOLMAS PUU VASEMMALTA on Kirsi Kunnaksen runoihin perustuva klovnin ja muusikon esitys lukemaan opettelemisesta ja ystävyydestä. Esitys kannustaa tarinoiden ja lukemisen pariin leikin, musiikin ja klovnerian kautta.

Esitys on suunnattu 5-7-vuotiaille, mutta sopii hyvin myös eri-ikäisille lapsille.

Lorut ja laulut leikkeineen ja rytmikkäine liikkeineen edistävät lapsen kielenoppimista ja tuovat iloa niin lapselle kuin aikuiselle. Loruhetkelle voivat osallistua alle 3-vuotiaat lapset aikuisen kanssa. Vauvalle kannattaa ottaa mukaan oma viltti tai pehmeä alusta. Tuokio kestää noin puoli tuntia, minkä jälkeen voimme vielä hetken viettää aikaa yhdessä, keskustella ja tutustua pienille lapsille sopiviin kirjoihin.

Tervetuloa satuhetkeen!

Nöykkiön kirjaston avoin satuhetki pidetään joka keskiviikko aamulla klo 10 alkaen. Satuhetket on suunnattu alle kouluikäisille lapsille sekä heidän huoltajilleen ja hoitajilleen.

Varhaiskasvatuksen lapsiryhmät voivat ilmoittautua satutunnille Espoo.fi-sivun kautta.

Satutuokiossa tutustutaan yhdessä erilaisiin tarinoihin.

Pitäjänmäen kirjastossa satutuokiot pidetään joka toinen keskiviikko 27.09.-22.11.2023 klo 10.00-10.30. Ne on suunnattu 3-6 -vuotiaille lapsille.

Chileläinen yhteisö Suomessa täyttää 50 vuotta ja muistelee syksyllä 2023 puolen vuosisadan pituista matkaa suomalaisten rinnalla.

Syksyllä 1973 Suomeen saapui ensimmäinen pakolaisryhmä, jonka Suomi oli hyväksynyt jo etukäteen pakolaisiksi. He olivat vajaat parisataa Augusto Pinochetin sotilasdiktatuuria paennutta chileläistä.

Chileläiset saapuivat solidaariseen ja ystävälliseen ilmapiiriin, sillä Suomessa oli seurattu tiiviisti vaaleilla valitun vasemmistolaisen presidentin, Salvador Allenden toimintaa kaukaisessa maassa. Verinen vallankaappaus syyskuun yhdestoista päivä 1973 ja sen jälkeinen väkivalta järkyttivät suomalaisia syvästi. Tänne syntyi ennen näkemätön solidaarisuusliike Chilen kansan puolesta.

11. syyskuuta 2023 Savoyssa muistetaan 50 vuoden takaisia traagisia tapahtumia, mutta yhtä lailla juhlitaan Suomessa elävää chileläisyhteisöä. Esiintymään saapuvat tällöin Daniela Fogelholm, Koiton laulu, Pelle Miljoona, Liisa Akimof, tanssiryhmä Raíces, Monna Kamu, Sinikka Sokka ja Eero Ojanen sekä Machu Picchu. Tilaisuudessa runoja lausuu Katariina Vuorinen. Tervehdyksen iltaan tuo musiikin tutkija, FT, dosentti (emeritus) Alfonso Padilla. Konsertin juontavat Linda Savonen ja Sebastián Coloma.

Konsertin järjestävät yhteistyössä Chile 50 vuotta -työryhmä, Pand ja Kulttuurivihkot.

Aloita viikko menevällä meiningillä! Syksyn toisen Juurilla-klubin vieraaksi saapuu laulaja ja näyttelijä Eija Ahvo.

Eija Ahvo on laulanut vuosien aikana niin teatterilavoilla, animaatiofilmeissä kuin sinfoniaorkesterin ja jazzyhtyeen solistina. Hän on julkaissut albumeita vuodesta 1974 lähtien. Vuosien varrella yhteistyökumppaneita ovat olleet mm. säveltäjät Toni Edelmann, Jukka Linkola, Esa Helasvuo sekä laulusisko Susanna Haavisto.

Maanantai-illan suosikkiklubin sykkivää ydintä ovat jazz, blues, country, folk, rhythm and blues, bluegrass ja americana-roots-musiikki. Juurilla-klubia isännöivät tuttuun tapaan Juki Välipakka ja The Rooty Toot Toot Band.

Eija Ahvo har under årens lopp sjungit på såväl teaterscener som i animerade filmer och som solist för en symfoniorkester och ett jazzband. Hon har släppt album sedan 1974.

Kostnadsfria måndagar är en serie gratisevenemang i Gamlasgården på måndagskvällar. Evenemangen omfattar spelningar, författarbesök, filmer och allsångskvällar. Tänä syksynä Pasilan kirjaston auditoriossa järjestetään avoin luentosarja, jossa eri tieteenalojen edustajat kertovat tutkimusaiheistaan. Luentojen pääteemana on Lähi-itä ennen ja nyt.

Neulontaklinikat Oodissa tiistaisin ja keskiviikkoisin 6.9. alkaen

Tervetuloa neulomaan tai virkkaamaan yhdessä Kädentaitomartat ry:n ohjaajien kanssa! Voit opetella neulomisen alkeita tai taidokkaan neuleen yksityiskohtia. Opit ehkä uusia tapoja tehdä sukan kantapään, lapasen peukalon tai resorin ja voit kysyä neuvoa neuleohjeen pulmiin tai ohjeiden sovittamiseen omille mitoille. Martat opettavat myös parsimista, voit ottaa mukaan reikiintyneet villasukkasi tai muun korjausta kaipaavan villa-asusteen.

Neulontaklinikka kokoontuu kirjaston toisessa kerroksessa Kuutio-tilan edustalla parillisten viikkojen keskiviikkoina klo 14-16, ja parittomien viikkojen tiistaina klo 17.30-19.30.

Neulontaklinikat ovat maksuttomia ja avoimia kaikille neulomisesta kiinnostuneille, tervetuloa mukaan!
