Jazz-duo Hanna & Andrea tulkitsee lauluja ja sävelmiä samettisesti, vuorotellen kerronnassa myös improvisaation keinoin.

Espan lavalla kuullaan uusia ja vanhoja englanninkielisiä jazz-kappaleita, joiden versioinnit käyvät hienosävyisesti läpi koko tunneskaalan.

Hanna Lehmonen (laulu) ja Andrea Martín (piano) tapasivat viime vuonna aloittaessaan opinnot Helsingin Pop & Jazz Konservatoriossa. Duo on siitä lähtien esiintynyt monissa tilaisuuksissa, mikä on hionut soittoa soljuvan yhtenäiseksi.

Perjantaisin klo 18

Tervetuloa viettämään perjantaita yhteisen elokuvahetken merkeissä! Sellon kirjaston Jaminurkassa järjestetään joka perjantai klo 18:00 avoin elokuvanäytös lapsille, perheille ja lapsenmielisille. Elokuvat valitaan yhdessä lasten toiveista kirjastossa.

Elokuvat ovat kaikki ikäsuositukseltaan S tai K7. Esityskielenä on suomi. Tekstitys valitaan lasten toiveiden mukaan.

Kom och berätta ditt önskemål till bibliotekets personal och bekanta dig med schemat för filmvisningarna på barnavdelningen i Sellobiblioteket.

Filmerna har rekommendationsålder T (tillåten för alla åldrar) eller 7 (tillåten för barn över 7 år). Språket för föreställningen är finska. Språket för textningen väljs enligt barnens önskemål.

Leena Lukkarin kirjoittama Rita – Sitruunapuun varjoista Suomeen -teos kertoo inspiroivan tarinan rohkeudesta ja sitkeydestä. Tule kuulemaan Rita Kostaman uskomattomasta pakomatkasta Ruandan kansanmurhan alta ja uuden elämän aloittamisesta Suomessa.
Tilaisuus järjestetään Keskustakirjasto Oodin Saarikoski-matolla (3. krs) perjantaina 22.9. klo 18. Lämpimästi tervetuloa!

Rita Kostama oli vain 15-vuotias, kun hän joutui jättämään kotinsa ja vanhempansa vuonna 1998. Vuosia kestänyt matka tuhansien järvien maahan ei ollut helppo. Kirja paljastaa Ritan kokemuksia pakolaisuudesta, kohdattuja vääryyksiä ja syrjintää sen eri muodoissa. Suomessa Rita opiskeli uuden kotimaansa kielen, kouluttautui ja perusti perheen.

“Kun sitten sain Suomessa mahdollisuuden, päätin tarttua siihen; oivalsin, että jos onnistuisin oppimaan kielen, minulla olisi mahdollisuus opiskella niin pitkälle kuin ikinä haluaisin ja vieläpä ilmaiseksi. Ja sitä minä juuri halusin, opiskella”, kertoo Rita kirjassa.

Rita Kostama valittiin Vuoden pakolaisnaiseksi vuonna 2016. Hän haluaa olla positiivisena esikuvana muille pakolaisille. Rita rakastaa Suomen talvea, taitoluistelua ja avantouintia.

Tervetuloa mukaan Espoon kaupunginkirjaston tarjoamaan 7–12-vuotiaiden ukuleleryhmään. Tunneilla on tarkoitus tutustua musiikkiin monipuolisesti. Harjoittelemme sointujen, sekä melodian soittamista kappaleiden avulla. Lisäksi teemme musiikin hahmottamista ja ryhmäytymistä tukevia harjoituksia leikkimällä ja piirtämällä. Opetus on oppilaslähtöistä. Kirjastolla on runsaasti ukuleleja, joita voi lainata tunnin ajaksi.

Les esperamos todos los viernes, a partir del 25 de agosto, de 4.30 a 5.30 pm, en la sala verde de la sección infantil de la Biblioteca de Pasila.

Sean bienvenidas todas las familias. PICNIC lo hacemos entre todos, así que anímate y ¡trae algo para compartir!

PICNIC es una coproducción entre la comunidad de familias hispanohablantes y las profesionales de Kulttuurikeskus Ninho ry.

Las sesiones de PICNIC son gratuitas, y están pensadas para peques caminadores, mayores de 2 años.

Tervetuloa mukaan Espoon kaupunginkirjaston ukulelen alkeiden jatkoryhmään. Soitamme tuttuja, lähinnä suomen-, englanninkielisiä lauluja. Välillä haastamme myös itseämme soittamalla melodioita ja opettamalla uusia sointuja ja komppeja. Ryhmässä rentous, välitön tunnelma ja yhteisöllisyys ovat tärkeitä asioita. Olet aina tervetullut mukaan! Kirjastolla on myös ukuleleja joita voit lainata tunnin ajaksi.

Tervetuloa mukaan avoimeen eSports harrastusryhmään hiomaan pelinsisäistä ja -ulkoista tietotaitoa sekä tutustumaan uusiin mukaviin joukkue- ja pelitovereihin. Harrastekertoihin sisältyy harjoittelua niin yksilö- kuin joukkuepelaamisessa mm. Fortnitessa. Aiempaa pelikokemusta ei vaadita. Vaunuparkkeja löytyy ensimmäisestä kerroksesta eteläpäädystä ja kolmannesta kerroksesta lastenmaailmasta. Vaunut on mahdollista lukita kiinni ensimmäisen kerroksen vaunuparkissa, mutta muistathan ottaa mukaan oman lukon ja ketjun.
