Tuokio kestää noin 30 minuuttia, jonka jälkeen tilaan saa jäädä vielä 30 minuutiksi leikkimään, juttelemaan tai lukemaan kirjaston hauskoja ensikirjoja kaikessa rauhassa muiden osallistujien kanssa.

Suositellaan 0–3-vuotiaille lapsille oman aikuisen seurassa. Ota vauvalle oma viltti tai pehmoinen alusta köllöttelyä varten.

Sellon kirjastossa järjestetään joka toinen torstai avoin satuhetki kirjaston lastenosastolla. Lähde ikäihmisten yhteiskävelylle torstaisin Puistolan kirjastolta (osoite Nurkkatie 2).

Tee kävelystä itsellesi rutiini. Tule kävelemään yhdessä vaikka joka torstai, vapaaehtoinen ohjaaja mukana mahdollisuuksien mukaan. Kävely on osallistujille maksuton, eikä ennakkoilmoittautumista tarvita. Laita jalkaan mukavat kävelykengät, pukeudu säänmukaisesti ja tule mukaan!

Kävelyt järjestetään torstaisin 7.9.-30.11. klo 9–10.

Myyrmäen kirjaston Musiikkia vauvoille! -ryhmässä laulellaan, lorutellaan, keinutellaan, kutitellaan ja tutustutaan erilaisiin ääniin ja soittimiin yhdessä vauvan kanssa.

Vuorovaikutus aikuisen ja lapsen välillä on tärkeintä. Ei haittaa, vaikka et olisi koskaan koskenut yhteenkään soittimeen! Mukana saa olla rennosti vain katselemassa ja kuuntelemassa, jos siltä tuntuu.

Ryhmä on avoin kaikille osallistujille kielitaidosta ja musiikkitaustasta riippumatta. Tuokion pituus on noin 30 minuuttia. Lasten ikäsuositus on 3-18 kuukautta.

Huomioi: Musiikkia vauvoille -tapahtumaa ei järjestetä 5.10. (viikko 40) & 26.10. (viikko 43).

Singing, rhyming, swaying, tickling, playing instruments, listening... \"Music for babies!\" welcomes all babies and their parents, grandparents or other care-givers to join these activities in Myyrmäki Library.

The most important thing is the interaction between the adult and the child. Participants are free to take part in any way that is most comfortable to them, even if it means just watching and listening.

The group is open to everybody regardless of their musical background or language skills. The length of the session is approximately 30 minutes. The recommended age of the children is from 3 to 18 months.

Please note that Music for babies will not be organized on 5th of October and on 26th of October.

Kom till Ode för att träna i grupp och lyssna på lyrik. Varje måndag klockan 16:00-17:00 gympar vi på barnens evenemangrum på tredje våningen. Balansträning för seniorer görs stående och avslappningsövningar sittande. Bibliotekarien och idrottsinstruktören leder gruppen samt läser lyrik i slutet av passet. Terminen börjar den 14 augusti och sista gången är den elfte december 2023.

Ingen anmälan behövs. Det är bara att dyka upp i bokhimlen!

Kom till Ode för att träna i grupp och lyssna på lyrik. Varje måndag klockan 16:00-17:00 gympar vi på barnens evenemangrum på tredje våningen. Balansträning för seniorer görs stående och avslappningsövningar sittande. Bibliotekarien och idrottsinstruktören leder gruppen samt läser lyrik i slutet av passet. Terminen börjar den 14 augusti och sista gången är den elfte december 2023.

Ingen anmälan behövs. Det är bara att dyka upp i bokhimlen!

Welcome to our monthly book and culture discussion group at Itäkeskus Library!

Each month participants will read a book, watch a film, or listen to an album related to a theme (for example Japan, Historical Fiction, Film Noir, or whatever the group decides on).

During the gathering we'll have coffee, share what we've read, watched or listened to, and see where the conversation takes us.

Dates for autumn (all Saturdays):
September 9th, October 7th, November 11th, December 9th
Time: 10:30-12:00

The theme for the first meeting is To be read... You can read a book from your reading list or watch a film you’ve been meaning to watch, etc. English need not be your native language to participate.

At the first meeting we will choose themes for the rest of the autumn.

Together Again is an expansive art project fostering gatherings, workshops, intercultural dialogues and socially engaged art, organised by the Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes across the world. Together Again presents six community-based works to audiences in Amsterdam, Helsinki, London, Madrid, New York, Oslo, Paris, and Porto, as well as online. The project takes place throughout 2023 and culminates in a one-day festival held in Helsinki Central Library Oodi, Finland on the 8th of September 2023. The festival is free and open to all!
