Kaupunginorkesteri kirjastossasi -kiertue
6.11.– 29.11.2023

Helsingin kirjastoissa soi kamarimusiikki, kun Helsingin kaupunginorkesterin ja Helsingin kaupunginkirjaston yhteistyössä järjestämä Kaupunginorkesteri kirjastossasi -kiertue käynnistyy 6. marraskuuta. Kiertueen aikana kuullaan maksuttomat konsertit 12 Helsingin kirjastossa.

You can hear chamber music in libraries in Helsinki, when the ”Kaupunginorkesteri kirjastossasi” (The Orchestra in your library) tour, organised jointly by the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and the Helsinki City Library, starts on 6 November. “Oksana Mariupolin kellarissa & Anastasiia kahden maan välillä”

Oksana Mariupolin kellarissa – merkintöjä 15-16-vuotiaan ukrainalaistytön päiväkirjasta. Oksana (nimi on muutettu turvallisuussyistä) pakeni kotimaastaan Ukrainasta maalis-huhtikuun vaihteessa 2022. Oksanaa pakoon auttanut ukrainalainen avustustyöntekijä Vira Khvust kuunteli häntä ja auttoi tätä kirjoittamaan tarinansa. Oksana oli valmis jakamaan sen, mitä hän oli kokenut. Hän halusi, että kaikki saavat tietää mitä Mariupolissa tapahtuu. Kuunnelma, n. 10 min.

Anastasiia kahden maan välillä

Nuori lahjakas näyttelijä Anastasiia joutui jättämään kotinsa ja monet haaveensa paetessaan kotikaupungistaan Harkovasta Helsinkiin. Elämä turvassa ei ole pelkästään helppoa: kuinka nukkua rauhassa ja jatkaa elämää kun kotimaassa toiset vaarantavat henkensä maan puolesta? Monen muun nuoren ukrainalaispakolaisen tavoin Anastasiia on päättänyt palata kotiin. Esitys n. 20 min.

Tässä makramee-pajassa voit tehdä amppelin tai seinävaatteen omaksi iloksi tai vaikka joulupukin konttiin! Paja pidetään Pähkinärinteen kirjastossa 13.11. klo 17-19. Työpajaan mahtuu 10 osallistujaa ja pajaan voit ilmoittautua tämän tekstin lopusta.

Makramee on käsityötekniikka, jossa solmuja käyttämällä saadaan aikaan koristeellisia nyörejä tai pintoja. Valittavana on eri värisiä lankoja. Kirjasto tarjoaa tarvittavat materiaalit.Vetäjänä toimii Instagramista nuokkuvilla-tililtä tuttu Sasu, joka opastaa osallistujia.

Paja on osa Vantaan kaupunginkirjaston tasoista Oma tila -palvelukokeilua, jonka kohderyhmänä ovat 13-17 –vuotiaat nuoret.

Onko ihmisen työllä ja osaamisella lopulta enää paikkaa digitaalisuuden ja tekoälyn maailmassa? Kirjan kirjoittaja, diplomi-insinööri Petteri Järvinen, tunnetaan tietotekniikan popularisoijana, joka esittää tekniset asiat ymmärrettävästi ja jopa hauskasti.

Petteri Järvistä haastattelee Matti Järvinen Pasilan kirjastosta. Kirjailijavierailu striimataan tapahtuman Facebook-sivulla, ja tallenne striimauksesta on katsottavissa Laajasalon kirjaston Facebook-sivulla kahden viikon ajan.

Tapahtuma on osa Itä-Helsingin kirjastojen Tulevaisuus tänään -tietokirjailijakiertuetta. Kiertueen tapahtumissa pohdimme tietokirjailijoiden ja asiantuntijoiden kanssa sitä, miltä tulevaisuus näyttää tämän päivän vinkkelistä, ja toisaalta miten tämän päivän toiminta ja ratkaisut muovaavat tulevaisuuden näkymiä.

Digitalkkari opastaa tietokoneen, läppärin, tabletin tai älypuhelimen kanssa. Opastukseen voi tuoda oman laitteen mukaan. Digitalkkari on opiskelija, joka suorittaa kirjastossa opintoihinsa liittyvää harjoittelujaksoa.

Tule Itäkeskuksen kirjaston LäksyHelppiin, jossa SPR:n ohjaajat auttavat läksyissä joka maanantai klo 15-17.

Voit tulla yhden kerran, tai vaikka joka maanantai.

Seikkailijat harrastusryhmässä hyppäämme Minecraftin villiin ja arvaamattomaan erämaailmaan tukenamme vain ja ainoastaan toisemme sekä otamme vastaan kaikki pelin tuovat haasteet yhdessä! Pelistä ei tarvitse olla aiempaa kokemusta, sillä paikalla on aina kaksi peliohjaajaa, jotka ovat aina valmiita auttamaan.

Tervetuloa Oodiin harjoittamaan tasapainoa ja kuuntelemaan runoja. Tasapainoharjoitukset tehdään seisten ja rentoutusharjoitukset istuen. Tapahtuma pidetään ruotsiksi. Ei ennakkoilmoittautumista. Maanantaisin klo 16-17, lasten tapahtumatila 3. krs. 14.8.-11.12.2023

Kom till Ode för att träna i grupp och lyssna på lyrik. Varje måndag klockan 16:00-17:00 gympar vi på barnens evenemangrum på tredje våningen. Balansträning för seniorer görs stående och avslappningsövningar sittande. Bibliotekarien och idrottsinstruktören leder gruppen samt läser lyrik i slutet av passet. Terminen börjar den 14 augusti och sista gången är den elfte december 2023.

Ingen anmälan behövs. Det är bara att dyka upp i bokhimlen!
