Neulontaryhmä kokoontuu joka toinen maanantai Vallilan kirjastossa klo 17.
19.2. kokoontumiskerralla sovitaan, kuinka pitkälle kevääseen kokoontumisia jatketaan.
19.2. on myös mahdollista opetella lasten Kanssakulkijat-lapasten virkkaamista yhteisö- ja tekstiilitaiteilija Maiju Ahlgrénin opastuksella. Ota virkkausta varten mukaan 2,5-3 mm virkkuukoukku ja koukkuun sopivaa villalankaa.
Ukrainaan lähetettäviä villasukkia voi toimittaa kirjastoon huhtikuun puoleen väliin asti.

Ukrainaan lähetettäviä villasukkia voi toimittaa kirjastoon huhtikuun puoleen väliin asti.

Kuun ensimmäisenä perjantaina katsomme aina ikäsuositukseltaan kaikille sallitun elokuvan (S). Muina perjantaina lapset saavat valita elokuvan S ja K7 elokuvien valikoimasta.
Elokuvan aikana pelitkoneet eivät ole käytössä.

Mitä sinä näet, kun näet meidät? Näyttely esittelee taiteilijaduo Olga Greenin ja Aino Laihon keskusteluja koskien kivikuuroutta, viittomakielisyyttä ja rajalla elämistä.
Teoksissa otetaan kantaa kuurojen kokemiin epäkohtiin, osin humoristisestikin. Näyttelyn teemat käsittelevät myös yhteisön sekä taiteilijoiden intersektionaalisia identiteettejä, kerrostumia ja monisyisyyttä.
Näyttely pyrkii tuomaan kuva- ja installaatiotaiteella yleisön tietoisuuteen uusia ajatuksia ja oivalluksia liittyen mm. viittomakielisten kuurojen turvalliseen tilaan, seksuaaliseen tasa-arvoon ja yhteiskunnan kasautuviin paineisiin.
Osa näyttelyn teoksista sisältää voimakasta kielenkäyttöä ja alastomuutta.

I verken tar man ställning till missförhållanden som de döva bemöter, delvis också humoristiskt. Utställningens teman handlar också om intersektionella identiteter, skikt och mångfald hos gemenskapen och konstnärerna.
