Cultural Grants Clinic is a counselling event open to everyone. At the Cultural Grants Clinic we will provide information about the City of Espoo’s cultural grants and advice on how to apply for them. During the event, you will also have the opportunity to get personal sparring with your application.

Welcome to the Espoo City Library Advanced Ukulele Group. We play popular and unknown Finnish and English tunes. We challenge ourselves by learning new chords, melody playing and strumming patterns. Relaxing atmosphere and communality are important values of the group. The library has ukuleles which you can borrow for the lesson. Participation is free of charge and no pre-registration is required.

Maanantaisin klo 17.00-18.15, Tapiolan kirjaston Heikki tapahtumatilassa

Tervetuloa mukaan soittamaan ukulelea iloiseen joukkoomme! Tässä ryhmässä soitetaan rennossa tunnelmassa tuttuja ja tuntemattomiakin suomen- ja englanninkielisiä lauluja. Opettelemme myös mm. melodiansoittoa ja erilaisia komppeja. Rento ote ja yhteisöllisyys ovat ryhmälle tärkeitä asioita. Kirjastolla on ukuleleja, joita voit lainata tunnin ajaksi. Aikaisempi soittotausta on suotavaa. Opetusta saa suomeksi ja englanniksi.

Ryhmä järjestetään joka maanantai välillä 15.1. - 27.5. paitsi ei 1.4.

Osallistuminen on maksutonta.

Sellon kirjaston studiossa maanantaisin klo 16.30-17.30

Tule mukaan Sellon kirjastossa järjestettävään bändikurssille! Kurssin aikana pääset soittamaan ja harjoittelemaan ohjatusti bändisoittimia. Pääset soittamaan rumpuja, bassoa, kitaraa ja pianoa. Tarkoituksena on harjoitella perusteet kaikista soittimista ja soittaa yhdessä nuorten toivomia kappaleita. Kurssi on suunnattu 13–20-vuotiaille. Ennakkoilmoittamalla varmistat paikan. Osallistuminen on maksutonta. Kurssille mahtuu kerralla 8 osallistujaa.

Kurssi järjestetään neljä kertaa maanantaisin 22.1, 29.1, 5.2 ja 12.2.

Ystävänpäiväkorttien teossa käytetään Cricut-leikkuria. Valitse ihanin ystävänpäiväteemainen kortti valmiista vaihtoehdoista. Leikkaus tehdään ohjaajan opastuksella.

Lopuksi pääset askartelemaan kortin mielesi mukaan. Kirjasto tarjoaa kartongit ja kaikki askartelumateriaalit.

Tervetuloa Kielikahvila Suomaan!

Suomen kielen keskusteluryhmä Pasilan kirjastossa joka maanantai ja keskiviikko klo 14-16 (8.1.-12.6.2024) sekä e-Ekstra-nettikielikahvila Skypessä torstaisin klo 17-19.

Suomen kielen taitosi ei tarvitse olla sujuvaa mutta toivomme, että osaat jo hiukan ennestään. Vietämme rennosti aikaa yhdessä jutellen. Jännittää ei tarvitse – rohkeasti mukaan! Tuo kaverisikin!

Meillä on tavallisesti useampi tasoryhmä vasta-alkajista enemmän osaaviin.

Välkommen till språkcafé Suoma!

Böle bibliotekets språkcafé Suoma är en diskussionsgrupp på finska som samlas varje måndag och onsdag kl. 14-16 (8/1 - 12/6 2024) samt som e-Ekstra på nätet varje torsdag kl.17-19 via Skype.

Dina finska språkkunskaper behöver inte vara flytande, men vi hoppas att du redan kan lite. Vi tillbringar en avslappnad tid med att prata tillsammans. Du behöver inte vara nervös – bara kom! Ta också din vän med dig! Vi brukar ha flera nivågrupper från nybörjare till mer skickliga.

Pasila Library's language café Suoma is a discussion group in Finnish that meets every Monday and Wednesday at 14-16 at Pasila Library (8.1.-12.6.2024), and on Skype as e-Ekstra every Thursday at 17-19.

Your Finnish language skills do not have to be fluent, but we hope that you already know a little. We spend a relaxed time talking together. There's no need to be nervous - feel free to come along! Also bring your friend with you!

We usually have several level groups from beginners to more skilled ones.

Enter ry:n henkilökohtaiset opastukset Lumon kirjastossa jatkuvat maanantaisin 29.1.-20.5.2024 klo 14–16 Opastuksissa käydään läpi asiakkaan toiveiden mukaisesti tietokoneen käytön ja internetin palveluiden perusteita. Apua saa myös älypuhelimien ja tablettien käyttöön. Opastus tapahtuu yleensä asiakkaan omalla laitteella.

Tunnin henkilökohtaiseen opastukseen ilmoittaudutaan etukäteen joko puhelimitse soittamalla numeroon 043 825 1305 tai kirjaston infotiskillä. Varattavat opastusajat ovat klo 14–15 ja 15–16.

Opastus on maksutonta.

Koodarit harrasteryhmässä opetellaan ohjelmoinnin peruslogiikkaa koodiblokkeja hyödyntämällä. Taitojen kehittyessä ja ryhmän edetessä koodaamme omia pelejä ja yksinkertaisia ohjelmia, sekä siirrymme käyttämään oikeita ohjelmointikieliä.
