Omppu Open Mic Runostage on lavarunoklubi, jossa pääsee esittämään omia tekstejä kannustavan yleisön edessä. Kaikki halukkaat ovat vapaasti tervetulleita tietysti myös yleisöön. Tule nauttimaan itseilmaisusta, jakamaan ajatuksiasi ja kuuntelemaan muiden runopäiden esityksiä.

Kukin avomikittäjä saa käyttää esitykseensä max viisi minuuttia.

Ilmoittautumiset paikan päällä, esiintymisjärjestys arvotaan noin kymmenelle ensimmäisenä ilmoittautuneelle.

Mitä rasismi on? Miten tiedostaa omat ennakko-oletukset? Miten voin itse puuttua rasismiin? Suomen Punaisen Ristin Helsingin ja Uudenmaan piiri järjestää yhdessä yhteistyökumppaneiden kanssa Rasisminvastaisen illan keskustakirjasto Oodissa torstaina 21.3. klo 17–20.
Illan aikana esitämme lyhytelokuvia, jotka herättelevät tunnistamaan rasismin eri muotoja. Haastamme pohtimaan ja tiedostamaan omia ennakko-oletuksia antirasismikoulutuksen kautta. Rohkaisemme jokaista toimimaan rasismia vastaan omassa arjessaan eri toimijoiden ständeillä minimessuilla.


Tapahtuma toteutetaan Oodissa kolmessa tilassa ja ehdit illan aikana vierailla vaikka niissä kaikissa.

What is racism? How to be aware of your assumptions and prejudices? How can I take action against racism? The Finnish Red Cross Helsinki and Uusimaa district, together with partner organizations, is organizing an Evening Against Racism at the Helsinki Central Library Oodi on March 21st, from 5-8 PM.


During the evening, we will present short films that encourage the recognition of different forms of racism. We invite you to participate in anti-racism training that helps to be aware of your own assumptions and prejudices. Furthermore, we encourage everyone to take concrete actions against racism in their daily lives at the stands of different organizations at our anti-racist mini-fair.


The event will be spread across three rooms at Oodi, and you're welcome to explore any or all of them throughout the evening.

The event is free and open to everyone. You don't need to register in advance, just drop-in. Welcome to learn something new, hear inspiring examples, and get tools to take with you into your daily life! The event is part of the Week Against Racism campaign. This year, the campaign focuses on means to address racism, in particular. Läksykerhossa voit saada apua kiperiin koulutehtäviin. Kerho on suunnattu alakouluikäisille ja se järjestetään kirjaston Lastenmaan Jaminurkassa. (Poikkeuksena ke 13.3., 10.4. ja 8.5., jolloin
läksykerho Lastenmaan sisäänkäynnin vieressä.)
