Helsinki on koko historiansa ajan elänyt itäisten ja läntisten vaikutusten ristiaallokossa. Värikäs menneisyys näkyy herkullisesti myös ruokakulttuurissamme. Kävelykierroksella tutustumme Helsingin kahvila- ja ravintolakulttuuriin sekä kuulemme kertomuksia asiakkaista. Katsastamme myös, millaista tori- ja hallikauppa on pääkaupungissamme. Opastetulla makumatkalla kuulemme millä tavoin suomalainen ruokakulttuuri on kehittynyt ja millaisena se näkyy meille tulevaisuudessa.
