Edithin sisaret on Edith Södergranin runojen innoittama esitys, enimmäkseen ruotsiksi mutta myös vähän suomeksi.

Runojen tulkintaa täydentävät esineet ja liikkeelliset koreografiat laajentaen runoelämyksen visuaaliseksi kokonaisuudeksi, joka luo rinnakkaisia maailmoja ja yhteyksiä katsojan mielikuvituksessa.

Esitykseen valitut yksitoista runoa luovat katsauksen Edith Södergranin tuotantoon kuvaten ihmisen elämänkulkua sekä ajatonta ihmisyyttä. Eri ikäisten esiintyjien kautta tuodaan näkyväksi elämänkokemuksen merkitys ja että ihmisen luomisen tarve on loppumaton.

Ediths systrar är en föreställning inspirerad av Edith Södergrans dikter, mestadels på svenska men också lite på finska.

Tolkningen av dikterna kompletteras av föremål och rörliga koreografier som utvidgar diktupplevelsen till ett visuellt helhetsverk, vilket skapar parallella världar och kopplingar i åskådarens fantasi.
De elva dikter som valts ut för föreställningen ger en översikt över Edith Södergrans verk, skildrande människans livsväg samt tidlös mänsklighet. Genom medverkande i olika åldrar synliggörs livserfarenhetens betydelse och att människans skapandebehov är oändligt.
Medverkande är Rose-Marie Malm, Malin Wikström-Orre och dockteaterkonstnären Pauliina Vesslin.
