Welcome Day toivottaa vasta Suomeen muuttaneet uudet asukkaat tervetulleeksi Helsinkiin!

Tapahtumassa tuoreet kaupunkilaiset pääsevät tutustumaan oman asuinalueensa palveluihin, harrastuksiin ja vapaa-ajan tarjontaan.

Welcome Day tarjoaa hyödyllisen tiedon lisäksi hauskaa, inspiroivaa ja yhteisöllistä ohjelmaa kaikenikäisille. Ohjelma huipentuu venezuelalais-syyrialaisen Ramithawin tunteikkaaseen konserttiin.

Welcome Dayssa puhumme englantia, minkä lisäksi tarjoamme tulkkausta tarpeen mukaan. Tapahtuma on maksuton, mutta vaatii ennakkoilmoittautumisen.

Klo 18.30: Ramithawi

Ramithawi on venezuelalais-syyrialainen laulaja-lauluntekijä, joka asuu Helsingissä ja Tbilisissä. Hänen musiikkinsa on yhdistelmä latinalaisamerikkalaisia ja arabialaisia elementtejä. Tässä sooloesityksessä hän esittää kappaleita, jotka kertovat rakkaudesta, menneistä traumoista ja sodasta.

Welcome Day hälsar invånare som nyligen flyttat till Finland välkomna till Helsingfors!

Under evenemanget får de nya stadsborna möjlighet att bekanta sig med tjänster, hobbyer och fritidsaktiviteter inom det egna bostadsområdet.

Welcome Day erbjuder förutom nyttig information även ett roligt, inspirerande och gemenskapligt program för personer i alla åldrar. Programmet kulminerar i en känslosam konsert med den venezuelansk-syrianska artisten Ramithawi.

På Welcome Day talar vi engelska, och dessutom erbjuder vi tolkning enligt behov. Evenemanget är avgiftsfritt men förutsätter förhandsanmälan.

Under evenemanget får deltagarna även njuta av kaffe och bulle enligt finländsk tradition.

Kl. 18.15: Ramithawi
Ramithawi är en venezuelansk-syriansk sångare och låtskrivare baserad i Helsingfors och Tbilisi. Hans musik är en kombination av latinamerikanska och arabiska inslag. I detta soloframträdande framför han sånger om kärlek, gamla trauman och krig.

Cultural Centre Vuotalo welcomes the recently arrived international residents to Helsinki!

In this event new residents will get to know the services, hobbies and other leisure time activities available to them in their neighborhoods.

In addition to providing useful information, the Welcome Day program includes fun, inspiring and communal activities for people of all ages. The event culminates in an emotional concert by Venezuelan-Syrian artist Ramithawi.

We speak English at Welcome Day. Additionally, interpreters will be present at the event. The event is free to attend, but sign-ups are required.

The program for Welcome Day Vuotalo

16.00: The services of the City of Helsinki, local art schools and NGOs present their activities in the lobby of Vuotalo. This part of the program will end at 18.45.

16.30–18.30: Fun activities for people of all ages:

Ramithawi is a Venezuelan/Syrian singer-songwriter whose music is a fusion of Latin and Arabic elements. Tonight he will perform for us together with his band.
