Käytännön esimerkein ja tehtävien avulla käymme läpi, miten tämä tietämys voi rikastuttaa musiikin ymmärtämistä, kuuntelu- ja soittamiskokemusta. Kurssilla keskitytään länsimaisen taidemusiikin teoriaan ja tätä tietämystä laajennetaan esimerkeillä muista musiikkikulttuureista. Aikaisempaa tietämystä musiikin teoriasta ei tarvitse olla. Through practical examples and exercises, we will examine how this knowledge can enrich musical understanding, listening, and playing experiences.</p><p>The course focuses on the theory of Western art music, and this knowledge will be broadened with examples from other musical cultures. No prior knowledge of music theory is required.
