Rakennetaan kierrätys- ja luonnonmateriaaleista hauskoja soivia ötököitä. Löydä oma sointisi ja liity osaksi rytmikästä parvea. Ohjaaja: taideopettaja Jenni Vilander</p><p><i>Yhteisöllinen kasvimatto</i><br>Elojuhlan kunniaksi toteutamme yhteisen raitamaton kasveista. Rivi riviltä kasvit punoutuvat osaksi yhteistä kudelmaa, joka kertoo kesän kasvukauden tarinaa ja kuvastaa sen monimuotoisuutta. Vähitellen syntyvä teos muistuttaa luonnon runsaudesta, vuodenajan kierrosta sekä yhdessä tekemisen ja luomisen ilosta. Ohjaaja: muotoilija Tanja Valta</p><p><i>Pyrografia-työpajat</i><br>Stoan niitylle rakentunut lahopuuteos merkitsee kokoontumispaikkaa monimuotoiselle eliökunnalle. Veistos muodostuu koivunrungoista sekä taideseinän puukiekoista, joihin työpajassa polttopiirrämme erilaisia eliöiden jälkiä sekä sanoja Eliökuntalaisten manifestista (kirjoittanut Anni Kytömäki). Tule ja jätä oma jälkesi monumenttiin. Ohjaaja: taiteilija Petra Martin</p><p><i>Postikortti pölyttäjälle</i><br>Työpajassa pääset maalaamaan postikortin pölyttäjähyönteisille. Biohajoavaan maaliin ripotellaan Suomen luonnon pölyttäjäkasvien siemeniä. Lopulta kortin voi haudata maahan jolloin siitä kasvaa pieni pala kukkaniittyä! <br>Ohjaajat: Seikkailutaidekoulun Verna Kuntsi ja Satu Sipilä</p><p>Itäkeskuksen kirjaston pisteillä toimintaa kaikille ötököiden ystäville:<br><i>Runoötökkäpaja aukiolla</i>: tule pyydystämään runoötökkä ja väritä se lempiväreilläsi.<br><i>Kasvimaan rastirata</i>: kirjaston lastenosaston kasvimaaradalla selviää, missä ötökät asuvat.</p><p>Tapahtuman aikana klo 17 ja klo 18.30 Stoan musiikkisalissa nähdään Teatteri QO:n Niitty -nukketeatteriesitys. Find your own sound as part of this musical swarm. Instructed by art educator Jenni Vilander.</p><p><i>Communal Plant Rug</i><br>We craft our own striped rug using plants. Row by row, the plants are woven into a tapestry that tells the story of the summer's growth and its diversity. The slowly created piece reminds us of the abundance of nature, the cycle of seasons and the joy of creating things together. Instructed by designer Tanja Valta.</p><p><i>Pyrografy workshops</i><br>The sculpture of decying wood on Stoa's meadow marks a meeting place for a diverse community of organisms. The sculpture comprises of birch bark and wooden disks, onto which we pyrograph – burn images using heated instruments – tracks of different critters and words from <i>A Manifesto for the Living World</i> by Anni Kytömäki. Come leave your own mark on the monument! Instructed by artist Petra Martin.</p><p><i>Postcard for a pollinator</i><br>In this workshop, you get to paint a postcard for a pollinating insect. In the biodegradable paint, there are sprinkled seeds of Finnish flowering plants. At the end, we 'send' the postcard by burying it in the ground so that it may grow into a tiny piece of a big blossoming meadow! Instructed by Verna Kuntsi and Satu Sipilä of Seikkailutaidekoulu.</p><p>Activities for all friends of insects at the Itäkeskus library points:<br><i>Poetry bug workshop</i>: come catch the poetry bug and colour it with your favourite colours.<br><i>Vegetable garden checkpoint course</i>: at the vegetable garden of the library's children's section, you may discover where different bugs make their homes.</p><p>During the event at 17:00 and 18:30, Teatteri QO performs their puppet theatre piece Niitty ('Meadow'). Free-of-charge tickets to the performances are distributed during the event. <u><a href=\"https://stoa.fi/en/events/event/4DDB625525B0583E2281FBF21A7873EE/Teatteri_Qo__Niitty\">Read more about the performance here</u></a>.
