"en": "<h3>Contemporary portraiture</h3><p>In this exhibit the artist presents the paintings from ‘The Follower’ series accompanied by other works from the recent.</p><p>‘The Follower’ is a series of figurative compositions that portrays a concept of the inescapable nature of our past that intertwines with our present and future.</p><p>The person in the paintings serves as the focal point, while the symbolic shadow trailing behind that person acts as a metaphor for the past, signifying the memories, experiences, and cultural and emotional baggage that accompany us throughout our lives. It suggests that regardless of how hard we try to forge ahead or leave certain aspects of our past behind, they inevitably follow us, influencing our paths and shaping our identities.
