"en": "<p>Finnish premiere</p><p>\"Who Breaks the Brick?\"</p><p>The film examines the economic and social effects of the Chicago School’s theories (“The Brick”) as implemented in Chile during General Pinochet’s dictatorship (1973 – 1990). The model (along with its results) is explored in retrospect, respectively by a member of the technocratic team originally responsible for its implementation, and by a social activist working in the poorest neighborhoods of a Chilean city. For the former, the challenge is to understand “what went wrong”, and act in accordance.
