"fi": "<p>Don’t thank for the food on Antonia Atarahin ja työryhmän fasilitoima performatiivinen installaatio ja näyttelytila.</p><p>Teoskokonaisuutta innoittaa ghanalainen sanonta ”älä kiitä ruoasta, ruoka on ruokaa, ja jokaisen on syötävä”. Tämä monikeskinen olohuone keskittyy tarinoiden ja identiteetin kysymyksiin kodin, ruoan, hoivan ja levon teemojen kautta. Installaatio on BIPOC-yhteisöä ja radikaalia iloa juhlistava illallinen, jossa taide, kuten ruoka, on välttämättömyys, jonka pitäisi olla kaikkien saatavilla.</p><p>Teos kutsuu kaikkia kokemaan tämän taidemuotojen sekoituksen ja osallistumaan keskusteluun taidetiloistamme ja siitä, mitä tarinoita kerrotaan ja kenen toimesta.</p><p>Kesto: Performatiivinen installaatio 4–6 tuntia<br>Kieli: englanti, ruotsi, suomi</p><p>Huom: Tilassa valmistetaan ghanalaista ruokaa. Perjantaina 7.11. installaatiossa soitetaan musiikkia ja tanssitaan loppuillasta.<br>Joillekin tilassa tapahtuville teoksille on asetettu tietyt alkamisajat. <br>Voit tulla ja mennä miten haluat ja viipyä haluamasi ajan.</p><p>Tämä tila toivottaa kaikki tervetulleiksi <3 Huomaathan kuitenkin, että teos on luotu BIPOC-näkökulmasta. Detta polycentriska vardagsrum fokuserar på frågor om narrativ och identitet genom teman som hem, mat, omsorg och vila. Installationen är en middagsbjudning som firar BIPOC-gemenskapen och den radikala glädjen, där konsten, liksom maten, är en nödvändighet och bör vara tillgänglig för alla. Verket bjuder in alla att uppleva denna blandning av konstformer och att delta i samtalet om våra konstutrymmen och om vilka berättelser som berättas och av vem.</p><p>Längd: 4–6 h<br>Språk: engelska, svenska, finska</p><p>Observera: Under installationen tillagas ghanansk mat. Fredagen den 7.11 spelas musik och dansas i slutet av installationen.<br>Vissa delar i rummet sker på bestämda tider. Du kan komma och gå som du vill och stanna så länge du önskar.</p><p>Detta rum välkomnar alla <3. Verket är dock skapat utifrån en BIPOC-erfarenhet. "en": "<p>Don’t thank for the food is a performative installation facilitated by Antonia Atarah and working group.</p><p>It’s inspired by the northern Ghanaian saying, ‘don’t thank for the food, food is food, and everyone has to eat’. This polycentric living room focuses on questions regarding narrative and identity through the themes home, food, nurture and rest.</p><p>It is a dinner party celebrating the BIPOC community and radical joy, where art, like food, is a necessity and should be accessible for everyone. The work invites everyone to experience a blend of art forms and artists, and to join the discussion about our art spaces, reflecting on what stories are told, and by whom.</p><p>Duration: Performative installation 4–6h<br>Language: English, Swedish, Finnish</p><p>Please note: Ghanaian food will be prepared at the installation. On Friday 7.11 there will be loud dance music at the end of the installation.</p><p>Certain works in the space have set times. You can come and go as you please and stay as long as you like.</p><p>This space welcomes all <3. However this piece is created through a BIPOC experience.
