Vuodenkierrossa marraskuu on pimeintä aikaa, mutta kuolleissa kasveissa elämä on läsnä monella tasolla.</p><p>Eskola on opiskellut ikebanaa, japanilaista kukkien asettelun taidetta Sogetsu-koulukunnan oppien mukaan vuodesta 2012. Hän käyttää taiteessaan kotiseutunsa Koillis-Helsingin kasvimateriaaleja: joutomaiden romulöydökset ja elävät kukat yhdistyvät veistoksiksi, jotka näyttelyn päätyttyä palaavat materiaaleina kiertoon.</p><p><b>Lyhtytyöpaja</b><br><b>ke 19.11. klo 15–17 Malmitalon aulassa</b><br>Tule luomaan oma lyhty, pieni valonpilkahdus syysiltaan! <br>Lyhtypajassa inspiroidutaan taloista ja valoista. In the cycle of the year, November is the darkest time, yet in dead plants life is present on many levels.</p><p>In her work she uses plant material from her home district in North-East Helsinki: found objects from wasteland sites and living flowers come together as sculptures that, once the exhibition ends, return to circulation as materials.</p><p><b>Lantern workshop</b><br><b> Wed 19.11. 15–17 in the Malmitalo lobby</b><br>Come create your own lantern – a small glimmer of light for the darkening evenings!</p><p>In the lantern workshop, houses and lights are the inspiration. The light of torches and lanterns drives away the dark!</p><p>Bring your own source of light!</p><p>The walk is part of a GreenInCities project, funded by the European Union. It focuses on urban green spaces, nature-based solutions and resident participation.
