"fi": "<p>Inner Mythology -työpaja tarjoaa esiintyjille mahdollisuuden sukeltaa syvälle Mélanie Demersin taiteelliseen maailmaan ja kutsuu tutkimaan, kuinka oma ”sisäinen mytologiasi” kaikuu liikkeessäsi ja esiintymisessäsi.</p><p>Työpaja on suunniteltu kehittämään luovuuttasi yhteistyötä tekevänä taiteilijana ja fyysinen työskentely venyttää näyttämöllä itsesi esille tuomisen rajoja – liikkuen yksityisen haavoittuvaisuuden ja julkisen ilmaisun (<i>intimité </i>ja <i>extimité</i>) hienovaraisella rajalla. Luomalla tilan, jossa ainutlaatuinen persoonallisuutesi, tyylisi ja energiasi risteävät ja yhdistyvät kanssatanssijoiden ominaisuuksiin, työpaja keskittyy siihen, miten liikkeelliset valintasi tuottavat merkityksiä ja kantavat voimakasta omaa ääntään.</p><p>Mélanie Demersin teos <i>Confession Publique </i>on osa Liikkeellä marraskuussa -festivaalin ohjelmistoa Stoassa 5.–6.11.</p><p>Osallistuminen yhteen työpajaan 35 €, Tanssille ry:n jäsenille 25 €. Osallistumnen tähän ja 7.11. klo 12 työpajaan 60 €, Tanssille ry:n jäsenille 40 €.</p><p>**</p><p><b>Mélanie Demers </b>on monialainen taiteilija ja montrealilaisen MAYDAY-tanssiryhmän (2007) perustaja. Hänet tunnetaan runollisuutta ja poliittisuutta yhdistävistä, genrerajat ylittävistä hybriditeoksista. Uransa aikana hän on luonut yli kolmekymmentä koreografiaa, joita on esitetty maailmanlaajuisesti yli neljässäkymmenessä kaupungissa.</p><p>Hänen merkittävimpiä koreografisia teoksiaan ovat <i>WOULD </i>ja <i>Confession Publique</i>, jotka ovat molemmat saaneet CALQ Awards -palkinnon parhaasta koreografiasta, sekä kansainvälisesti kiertäneet teokset kuten <i>Animal Triste </i>ja <i>Cabaret Noir</i>. Over her career, she has choreographed thirty pieces presented in around forty cities worldwide.<br>Her key choreographic achievements include <i>WOULD</i> and <i>Confession Publique</i>, which both earned CALQ Awards for best choreography, alongside internationally toured works like <i>Animal Triste</i> and <i>Cabaret Noir</i>. Demers has also expanded into theatre, directing Jordan Tannahill’s <i>Déclarations</i> and premiering her play <i>l'amour ou rien</i> in 2025.</p><p>Her profound impact on the performing arts has been recognized with major honors, including the GRAND PRIX de la danse de Montréal (2021), the 2024 NAC Award, and the 2025 Canada Council for the Arts Molson Prize.
